Alright so look, GTA 4 does not have this type of many choices, but atleast it has good physics, more better graphics + game is in new york, what if scripters could make the same SAMP servers into GTA 4

Which SA:MP server would bring you back to the game? If you could choose an old SA:MP server to bring back to life that would make you return to the game, which server would it be? For me, its SA:RP.

I've been playing on sa-mp since who knows when. On occasion I log in to see what's happening, usually UIF or HZ-RP. A year ago (must've been) UIF started having problems with the connection, that's when I stopped playing even the tiny amount I did during the month. Something happend there and I couldn't figure out what, last time I checked that server it had less than 100 players and I was unable to log-in.

Anyways, I've gained knowledge of this new client, open.mp. Though I tried installing it a couple of months ago, the so called false-positive anti-virus notification you get has kept me from actually installing. Is this the sa-mp replacement (even though sa-mp was abandonned in 2015)? I'm tryng to string together the timeline by searching online but can't really get to the answer - might as well ask here to see if someone has more knowledge.

What happend to sa-mp (not 2015 sa-mp, after 2015 sa-mp as it was till very active) and is open.mp the only way to play this now (other than MTA)?

Hey everyone,

I'm Rufus, founder of AtlasV, a heavy text-roleplay FiveM server inspired by the GTA World style of RP: /me and /do driven scenes, character applications through a UCP, and a rules quiz before anyone gets in.

The core idea: language shouldn't decide who you can roleplay with.

Every player sets their own language and the languages they understand. Anything they don't understand gets translated in real time by AI:

• local chat, /me and /do, radio
• phone calls and text messages
• social media posts and character descriptions

Translated lines are marked, and /original shows the source text. A Hungarian, a German and a Brazilian can share the same scene, each typing in their own language. Translations usually arrive within 1–3 seconds, and the system is protected against prompt tricks and spam.

What's already built:

• custom framework written from scratch (no ESX/QBCore)
• UCP with character applications
• interface, help system and guides in 10 languages (EN, HU, DE, FR, ES, PT, PL, NL, TR, IT)
• the AI translation layer across chat, phone and social media
• anticheat

The server is in testing right now, and I'm putting together the team that will take it to launch.

Who I'm looking for:

• Language community leads: people who'd run and moderate the community in their own language, and help check the translations
• Staff and moderators with heavy-RP experience
• Mappers, designers and content creators
• Community managers for Discord and social media

What you can expect: a real say in how the server grows, and a place in the core team from the start. Experience with heavy RP communities (GTA World or similar) is a big plus, but what matters most is that you care about quality roleplay.

If this sounds like something you'd want to be part of, comment here or DM me. On Discord I'm therufus._

Anyone remember MTG-RP and LSRP? Playing on those two servers after school was a major part of my childhood and I made a lot of cool friends on them :)

Si je vous dis que la photo date de 2014 ? :P

Hello, everyone.

After nearly six years of development, countless hours of work, testing, rebuilding, and refining, we're finally ready to introduce Red State Roleplay.

What started as an ambitious idea gradually became a long-term project. Over the years, we've worked through technical challenges, redesigned core systems, and spent an enormous amount of time building a foundation that meets our expectations.

Today, we're proud to say that the core gamemode is complete, stable, and functioning as intended.

But here's something important: what you see today is only the beginning.

Not even half of the systems, features, and improvements we have planned have been introduced yet. We have a much bigger vision for this project, and we intend to develop it carefully rather than rush features simply to have more of them.

One of our biggest milestones was finally bringing the gamemode to a point where we have full control over its codebase and development direction. After years of work, we can now focus on what originally inspired us: creating an enjoyable and authentic roleplay experience.

What kind of server are we building?

Red State Roleplay is an English-speaking, text-based roleplay server focused on the atmosphere of rural San Andreas and the communities of Red County.

Our vision includes meaningful character development, a balanced economy, local businesses, civilian careers, law enforcement, criminal roleplay, and the freedom to create stories that develop naturally through player interaction.

We believe that quality roleplay comes from the players, not just the systems surrounding them.

We're not here to promise overnight success or claim to be better than anyone else. We're here because we genuinely enjoy developing this project and believe it deserves a chance to grow.

Now, we'd like to invite you to be part of that journey.

We're opening the door to players who appreciate serious text roleplay, value a well-developed environment, and would like to help shape a community from its earliest stages.

If the interest and support are there, we're fully prepared to continue investing our time and effort into making Red State Roleplay something worth returning to.

Six years brought us to this point.

Now it's time to see what we can build together.

Would you give a new Red County roleplay project a chance?

I'm playing the original PC version of GTA: San Andreas, and I've been having trouble with mouse aiming. The aim doesn't always seem to go exactly where I want it to.

I've been wondering whether this could be related to the game's original FPS limiter, refresh-rate settings, or how the game handles mouse input on modern systems.

I've seen conflicting information about the original PC version's frame rate, with people mentioning 25, 30, 60, and even 90 FPS. I know that changing the frame rate can cause gameplay issues in this game, so I don't want to start changing settings randomly.

My questions:

1. Is inaccurate mouse aiming a known issue in the original PC version?

2. Can the FPS limiter or refresh rate affect mouse aiming or mouse input?

3. Does anyone know whether this issue is fixed by SilentPatch, a mouse-input fix, or another reliable solution?

4. What settings would you recommend for the most stable, vanilla-like experience on a modern PC?

I'm interested in understanding the actual cause rather than blindly installing multiple fixes.

If you've experienced this yourself, I'd appreciate hearing what worked for you.

My setup:

- Windows: [Windows 11]

- Resolution: 1920×1080

- Monitor: 165 Hz

- APU : Ryzen

Life beyond the city limits.

If you're still playing SA-MP and miss the days of county-based roleplay communities, I'd like to introduce you to County of Los Angeles Roleplay (Co:LA).

Co:LA is an English, heavy text-based roleplay server running on SA-MP 0.3.DL & 0.3.7. Instead of focusing on Los Santos like most servers, we've built our community around the smaller towns and countryside of San Andreas, including Montgomery, Palomino Creek, Dillimore, Blueberry, and Angel Pine.

The goal is pretty simple: bring back that old-school SA-MP roleplay experience while giving players plenty of things to do, even when the server isn't packed with people.

What does the server offer?

Civilian Life & Jobs

We've put a lot of work into civilian gameplay. Players can work different jobs, including trucking, farming, warehouse work, garbage collection, fishing, and more. Our career system features progression, contracts, and rewards.

Vehicles, Properties & Businesses

Purchase homes, own vehicles, operate businesses, and build your character's life. Vehicles feature systems such as mileage, fuel, mechanical conditions, storage, and customization.

Law Enforcement, Fire & EMS

Our Sheriff's Department and County Fire Department have dedicated systems for patrol, investigations, firefighting, and medical emergencies. We've also added dynamic incidents to give emergency personnel things to respond to outside normal player-created calls.

Criminal Roleplay

Players interested in the illegal side of roleplay can get involved in weapon smuggling, drug operations, and criminal organizations. Law enforcement also has investigative tools and evidence systems to help create more meaningful consequences.

Ongoing Development

The gamemode has been built and expanded with new features, jobs, interfaces, and quality-of-life improvements. We're continuing to fix bugs, improve existing systems, and add new content based on player feedback.

What kind of community are we looking for?

We're not expecting hundreds of players overnight. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy character development, creating roleplay, and helping build a community rather than just logging in and waiting for someone else to do something.

Whether you're a longtime SA-MP player or someone looking to get into text-based RP, you're welcome to check us out.

The server is currently in public beta, so feedback and suggestions are always appreciated.

Hi All,

Looking for people interested in joining my team on a Semi-Roleplay based server featuring different Mafia/Mob/Gangster families fighting each other in a community-based economy and alliance system. With faction turfs, drug production systems, gun crafting and much more.

Looking for people who understand the basic concept of Roleplaying Gang families and enjoy spending time on a server similar to "Focotdm" for those that remember the fighting style it had. (no cj, c-shot)

I have no intention of doing promotions for this server as I am a regular player looking to increase our group numbers and make friends. Around 70-120 active at a time. Please reach out via DM.

County Lines Roleplay is set in Red County, 2005. With market towns, farmland, forest roads, haulage yards and a great deal of empty ground between them. This is a place where everyone knows each other, which makes it very hard to get away with anything, and very easy to get away with everything. — Join our discord server now to keep up to date.
