Only have a bit over 100hrs on rocket league so I'm pretty damn happy with this

Just played a CASUAL 2s game, missed an open net, teammate stops playing with 3 minutes left. I turn chat on and lo and behold this sad excuse for a human being is typing paragraphs. Lmao imagine typing to yourself for 3 minutes like an insane person. Genuinely sad. Anyways be nicer to your teammates, you’ve missed an open net today. There’s a reason I’m in casual, I’m allowed to miss open nets there 🥰

I thought it would be funny to bump this guy off of the pad and steal his boost by sitting on top of it, but he got it instead of me even though he was not on top of the pad. How does this work?

I just recently got out of a 2 week long slump and lost almost 100 mmr in 2s and 1s, but randomly the other day everything came back and I started playing good again.

Me and my friend were playing 2s ranked in plat 3 (got diamond 1 before slump) and I hit this air dribble flip reset goal.

My recording software didn't have my mic enabled so it's just my friend talking in background, but damn I was freaking out. IMO this is a way better shot than my previous ceiling shot double tap.

Why has the latest update destroyed the paint job on my Jurassic Jeep? Will only do solid colours now not the paint job I bought the car with. Just close the servers.

First post on here. I just wanted to briefly talk about Rocket League’s role as a stress reliever. I don’t know about you all, but I’m a person that is constantly thinking and I find it hard to stay present and focus on what’s in front of me. Rocket League being the game that it is, requiring much thought and mental processing, takes me away from the heaviness of whatever I think about in my day to day. I’ve taken a few months away from competitive (ranked) Rocket League, but I think it’s time I get back into it. Does anybody else share the same sentiment ?

pointless post i get it, but i was watching a silver gold IG guy and it was so calming, i miss genuinely laughing at mistakes instead of getting irritated. not knowing how to air dribble or reset, just winging it and ground only plays. chillin with the boys and not caring because i knew i was bad already. i mean im still bad compared to the higher ranks then me but still, anyone else miss been gold or plat or below? i cant be the only one.. also: if theres any ssls in here that want to beat up on me in a 1s game pls message me... i have been wanting to 1v1 a ssl for ages and cant find any..

I wish wr could get another ghostbusters event in rocket league last time i only got the wheels and a player banner wish they could at least add back the ecto1 but nope not even fortnite has done anything in years with ghostbusters. it would be nice if we could get a ghostbusters 2 themed event including statue of liberety accecorys maybe a toaster that has pink slime leaking out of it and ocasionally jumps a free decal that makes the og rocket league car look like the gray jumpsuit. ego wheels. ghostbusters party hat as a topper

I’ve been thinking it’s gonna finally release the next day for the past week yet it hasn’t. Are we just not getting haunted hallows this year at all? I was hoping they would do smth special like bring back the old lte items into the shop and bring back each years respective shop bundle back (e.g last years scooby doo machine)

With the new season tournament items, it's literally impossible to trade up to exotics because both the imports are available in Fortnite. I keep pulling imports and then am confused why the number of tournament imports I have hasn't been going up. This system is absolutely ridiculous and there's no point to even offering these trade-ups if all the new items aren't eligible for trade ups.

I think RL should bring back og atnhems. When i scored with loca i feel so good just bring back AL3JANDRO ROCKET LEAGUE

I've been trying to spend at least 45 minutes a day just in freeplay practicing getting a good first touch off the wall and then facing the ball and getting under it for a reset. I am actually noticing that I'm getting the reset itself more consistently, but I kind of just panic when I do and don't really do anything with it. Any tips?

I understand having to adjust to your teammate when you solo queue in 2s. For the most part I feel I do a pretty good job of it. I don’t care about MVPS or stats. I’m just trying to rank up. But man most of the Randoms are insufferable

Too many of them focus more on air dribbles that lead to absolutely nothing then don’t even try to rotate back. Or opponents score a quick goal and teammate goes AFK. Or just intentionally throws after going down early. I’m so sick of it

There’s a 1s mode for a reason. Go there and do all your fancy and whiny bullshit. Stop ruining it for the rest of us

Also, turning off quick chat makes the game 10x more enjoyable loses some of the toxicity. One of the better decisions I’ve made

Quick question/issue here: I have the base Dingo body in my Rocket League inventory (built and ready to use), but the Fortnite item shop is still trying to charge me the full 1,400 V-Bucks for the bundle instead of granting it for free via cross-ownership like it's supposed to.

Today is the last day the Dingo is in the item shop, so I'm a bit worried I'm going to miss out. I spoke with Epic Support and sent them screenshots, and they kindly suggested I report this here so the dev team can be aware of it.

Has anyone else run into this with the Dingo or other RL cars?

Hello everyone!

I am currently D3, peak D3. I started playing RL late 2025 and it’s quickly become my genuine favorite game OAT. I’ve been a lifelong gamer and no game has ever made me feel quite like RL does.

Excluding vacations and emergencies and what not I make an effort to play RL every day and I try to be very mindful about my gameplay to actively improve. I’d say I probably average 2 hours of RL per day.

As of now I do a very basic warmup in free play for like 5 mins. Dribble around a bit, hit some shots, it’s very non specific. My ‘goal’ is to feel like my timing and predictions and car control feel ‘warmed up’ and consistent. Aside from the 5 min warmup I literally exclusively play 2v2 ranked.

I want to start to take RL more seriously and I think that my first step would be to implement some actual training time rather than strictly grinding 2v2 ranked. (I think?) I’m not exactly sure where to start though.

Most of the advice I see online on Reddit or yt or whatever seems to suggest training particular mechanics day by day and moving on to newer and more advanced mechanics as you progress. Seems obvious enough but I’m not sure where to start that training.

I made it into diamond with a pretty stark lack of mechanics (because I never train them..)

I don’t speed flip
I don’t consistently wall air dribble
I don’t consistently ground flick
Ext ext

I have a large lack of mechanics and even notice the average player in my ranks probably has better mechanics than me.

I feel my strong points are my game sense, ball path predictions, rotations, ext. Again, probably because I strictly grind 2’s.

I’d love some advice about how to train seriously and take the game just more seriously overall. My main goal is simply to improve. I’m happy with my progress so far but I want more, and I’m willing to put the work in!

I was just messing around in free play and when I went for a pop reset I instead got a ton of wave dashes on the ball. Has this already been discovered? I know people have wave dashed on the ball before but has anyone got multiple? I would love to see if someone can recreate this and be consistent. But I thought I would just share this goofy ahh thing I found.

Very strange matchmaking. Literally 10-15 games in a row of troll teammates and then it’s like a switch is flipped and I start running over every game, winning like 10 in a row. I went searching and discovered EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking). I’m thinking the integrity of the ranked system has been fucked by Epic.
