“Jackie’s necropsy confirmed Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) as the primary underlying cause of her decline,” said Steve Kubiski, Director of Disease Investigations at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. “In an uncommon presentation of the virus, the infection caused a severe ulcer in her stomach that led to persistent internal bleeding, anemia, and the development of bacterial sepsis.”

I got a mailer from Dale Broome. He suggests 20 years is enough of his opponent, Patty Holohan.
I asked AI to assist me with is FOUR BIG CLAIMS against her --
20 YEARS OF DECLINING TEST SCORES -- RUSD students meeting/exceeding state standards (2024/25); only 51% in English | 38% in Math | 34% in Science
The Facts --
CONCLUSION: Dale is sweeping the facts into the Broome Closet
****************
20 YEARS OF DECLINING ENROLLMENT -- RUSD has faced years of declining enrollment
The Facts --
CONCLUSION: Dale is sweeping the facts into the Broome Closet
****************
20 YEARS OF TEACHER SEXUAL MISCONDUCT LAWSUITS -- Costing Redlands School Districts more than $50 million
The Facts --
CONCLUSION: Dale is sweeping the facts into the Broome Closet
****************
YEARS OF POOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY -- In 2023, the Board approved a 13% teacher raise, with one-time Federal COVID funds. This led to a $20 million deficit in January 2026. Holohan voted to continue deficit spending, opposing the necessary staff reductions to address the shortfall.
The Facts --
CONCLUSION: Dale is sweeping the facts into the Broome Closet
--------------------------------------------
So. Broome's basic pitch is 'change' is needed even if it means sacrificing someone with far greater experience than himself.
Trump has been deploying this exact move on America the last two years. A Secretary of 'War' that is more concerned about testosterone than keeping trained professional generals. A Secretary of Health that has caused a measles outbreak and had a worm eat his brain. And a new Press Secretary who can't read and confuses Trump for her husband.
Yeah... we've been down this dimwit road of MAGA 'social justice warriors'. I don't think having Chad Bianco's endorsement is a plus at this point. Seems like most of the country has been purging these clowns in recent elections and intends to continue doing so on election day.
Say what you will: Holohan is an acceptable candidate, Broome isn't.

Looking for a private teacher for 30min weekly lessons with my brilliant and talented autistic adhd 12 year old. He’s also a pianist and has a lovely ear. Looking for an instructor that would maybe even be neurodivergent themselves who would be patient with a kid like mine. Any thoughts or recs on local people - even a college student? School district band teacher hasn’t been super helpful. TIA

Hi all i have ATT cell phone coverage and it is horrible in the Redlands area from California near the 10 fwy to University. I have bad coverage at mountain grove area as well. South Redlands is pretty bad too. I am planning to switch providers but want to see what are other people’s real world experiences with other providers in the area.
