Unanswered What nomenclature-related feature do these states have that the others do not?

• Upvotes

Preceding or subsequent words that may be used as part of the nomenclature do not count. You cannot say, “State of Louisiana,” for example, if saying “state of” is what allows you to arrive at your answer.
