Self Post Some people have too much time on their hands
For those finding it hard to read the text on pic #2:
Just based on this photo, it does appear Al like, round shaped embroidery for some reason lacks entrances/exits of the string, beak of the pigeon oddly smooths with the outline, pigeon itself has a coloured inside while everything else is embroidered? All of this combination is what Al generation will often do. That, said it could be the effect of the style and technique so I am not passing judgement yet especially if there are more close up photos. But as someone who embroiders as a hobby by hand while also uses ChatGPT generation for fun, this looks awfully like what I would get if I asked ChatGPT to make embroidery image.
Edit: I saw the video by OP and I take my accusations mostly back. Although I would still like to see techniques used. Gemini will easily take a photo like this and turn it into a video of presenting embroidery work
Edit 1: further inspecting the video, the beak blending is visible there too and I would expect Gemini (or another video model) stumble upon it. So it looks real even if its 8sek video which is typical of Al generated videos.
Edit 2: I fully retract any suspicion that this may be Al, I have a hard time finding any consistency issues and as such I have no grounds of suspicion. Good work OP and most impressed I am by the round lines you managed to work while retaining their black/white string swirly pattern, I assume that is an ntentional technique which I just haven't learned or seen before.
