u/gribbly and everyone (I’m sorry) it’s been 4 months after the rec room shut, what are you guys doing? Hey gribbly which music do you is better oobe or end credits with coach?

the makerpen was awesome and want to build some stuff with a similar system

Some of these were taken on iPad due to me being out of the house, but the June 3rd ones are taken on PC. Time zone in photos was approximately 6 hours behind EST

On there three less shop they sold shower curtains witch I found funny I never got one it makes me wonder how many people bought the 70 dollar recroom shower curtains

They made the announcement that recroom is shutting down

I made a good-looking mirror in my Rec Room remake.

i keep seeing posts wondering why rec room shut down now while it had funds till 2029.

rec room would have costed a few hundred thousand dollars a year to run alone, that doesnt include employee wages, creator payouts, etc

it was very smart to shutdown this early, this way people can walk away with a good chunk of severance before they find a new job

i love rec room just as much as the next guy, but truely i think its time to let it go.

In my opinion I look down on them not because of the usual "food doesn't taste the same reheated" but because of the community they have. RecRoom used to be less toxic and never really had to compete with itself.

However, I can't really give a strong unbiased opinion myself because I'm building my own RecRoom inspired game (no it's not a revival).

My best friend in recroom told me to find him with the same username on a recroom revival game, I never wrote it down, I don’t remember which game he said, ive been looking for clues forever and im starting to give up, I need help

this also couldve been true if they gave a fuck about us

when rec room shutdown i downloaded my pictures from rec net and imported them into my immich server, and apperently i took a picture of the rec center halloween decorations and whatnot, 4 years ago!

I've been constantly checking vinted and eBay but there's nothing, I did manage to order a Kevin Plush off of vinted but the seller never sent and it cancelled. P. S. I'm from the uk
