Used some kai watchi serum videos and some inkeft serum youtube videos for this

Hello,
My name is Somber and I have been producing dubstep for three years now. Recently I selected a couple of tracks I really like and decided to release my first album so I could see what people think about it.
I’m very aware that te production level and tracks aren’t perfect but I’ve spent a lot of time and research in producing dubstep so I’m proud of what I’ve made.
Feel free to give feedback (good or bad) because I’m still evolving as a producer and trying new things so any tips are welcome.
(Distrokid has been very shit in releasing the album so it’s not on Itunes or soundcloud yet, I’m going to release it on soundcloud tonight)

Fun project ive been working on

Question for experienced producers - are toms traditionally used in dubstep production? Or is the low end mostly saved for kick and bass?

Have any examples of toms used in tunes?

new clip

New track, let me know if it moves you or I will delete it =)

Started a bit more serious playing with dubstep sounds in FL.

Let me know how it sounds, thanks!

is the bassline 2 notes? The first note and then second note a wobble?

Or is it one note and it has the wobble at the end of the sustained note?

If you’re into reggae, at the beginning of almost every song out there, there is a clean drum fill ready to be sampled. These are great for turnarounds and drops.

hello! so I would just like to ask two things:):

* why isnt GarageBand more common in dubstep production? its actually really good at it, because its really wonky and can sound rlly analog at times!

* second, is there any dubstep that uses an amapiano log drum as the bass? still with everything else the same ambient style but just log drum? because ive been thinking about doing it:)

thanks!!!!!!

Does anyone know how to create this bass sound, are there any tutorials or suggestions? Thanks

Idk I don't really have a description for this one. It was fun. I myself may have had some involvement with 'a few' herbal refreshments in the process. Enjoy.
