Hi! I got an Ainsley doll at the thrift and am super happy with her, I'll be cleaning her up and styling her soon. But I noticed that she has really short hair at the top of her haid. It's not gonna be a real issue for the hairstyle I want to do on her but I was wondering if her hair was cut or if she came like that new. Thanks 🩷😁

Thank you to everyone who had suggestions on how to get / make doll glasses, I ended up making them with polymer clay, wire, and plastic packaging. They are fragile but I'm very happy with how they turned out 😊 (this is for my mini me doll)

I missed out on new friends pinkly last year so i snatched this one as quick as my eyes could process what what happening. I was never really partial to her original outfit or accessories anyway just glad to finally have this gorgeous girl and another copy of the locker. But DAMN this box is HUGE

do we think that the upcoming Care bears skyler, a seemingly “deluxe” doll, will be rooted in low quality nylon,,, like the doll‘s that’s being shown?? y’know- just to save themselves a couple of bucks… or do we think that she’ll be rooted with the typical kiwi nylon 🤔?

I've been thinking about some original Rainbow High dolls I'd love MGA to release. I feel like there are still so many gorgeous shades, skin tones, hairstyles, and fashion aesthetics they haven't fully explored. I know they probably won't at this point lol but still. Here's my dream lineup!

❤️ RED- Maeve Ashford (Auburn)

An autumn/equestrian-themed doll with fair, freckled skin, green eyes, and gorgeous long, rich auburn hair. Her aesthetic would be very English countryside meets Ralph Lauren: fitted tweed riding jacket, cream jodhpurs, tall brown leather riding boots, and a silk scarf. Think autumn leaves, horse riding, old money, and countryside chic. I'd love a sophisticated red doll who isn't dressed in bright scarlet!

🧡 ORANGE- Leilani Ember (Burnt Orange)

A Hawaiian girl with warm, golden brown skin, dark eyes, and long, thick, wavy black hair with burnt-orange highlights. Her palette would be terracotta, rust, and sunset orange rather than neon. Her fashion would be tropical resort wear meets contemporary street style: a beautiful crochet top, flowing patterned trousers or a wrap skirt, platform sandals, and gold jewellery. I'd love some subtle Hawaiian inspired prints and accessories without making her look like a tourist!

💛 YELLOW- Aurelia Primrose (Pale Primrose Yellow)

I'd love a doll with very deep, cool-toned brown skin contrasted against soft, pale primrose-yellow hair. I feel like this particular colour combination could be stunning and quite different from the yellow dolls we've had. She'd have a chin length bob, dark eyes, and a 1960s inspired mod aesthetic: minidresses, white patent boots, geometric earrings, and a little matching handbag. Very polished, retro, and fashion-forward.

💚 GREEN- Sage Mori (Sage Green)

A Japanese doll with light olive skin, almond-shaped dark-brown eyes, and straight, glossy black hair with subtle sage-green sections. I'd love her to have a minimalist, understated aesthetic rather than the elaborate outfits Rainbow High usually goes for.

💙 BLUE- Maren Storm (Storm Blue)

A doll with medium-deep brown skin and gorgeous grey-blue eyes, with thick, textured midnight-blue hair styled in a short, sculptural curly bob. I'd give her a slightly edgy, urban aesthetic: a cropped faux leather jacket, washed blue cargo trousers, silver hardware, and chunky boots. Maybe a second outfit with a glossy blue trench coat. Something moody and editorial rather than another bright-blue doll.

💜 PURPLE- Vesper Wisteria (Dusty Plum)

A romantic, slightly gothic doll with olive skin, dark eyes, and long, almost-black hair with deep plum-purple undertones. Her aesthetic would be Victorian romance meets modern balletcore: a dusty-plum velvet corset dress, delicate lace details, sheer tights, ribbon accessories, and little heeled Mary Janes. I'd love a more muted, sophisticated purple doll with an almost mysterious, ethereal quality.

🩷 PINK- Jasmine Gulabi (Blush Pink)

An Indian doll with beautiful medium-brown skin, large dark-brown eyes, and very long, silky black hair with soft rose-pink highlights. Her style would be ultra feminine, delicate, and romantic: blush pink satin, embroidered fabrics, pearls, bows, lace, and little ballet flats. I'd love her to have subtle Indian fashion influences, perhaps a gorgeous embroidered lehenga-inspired skirt or delicate traditional jewellery incorporated into a modern outfit.
