I'm a noob. I'm trying to do the strafe jump course, I can consistently hit the 3rd platform, rarely the 4th. I can see my speed increasing but it's just not enough.

I'm holding W and Space (Auto hop is on.) When I hit the platform, I alternate from A to D, and flick my mouse in the L/R direction corresponding.

Edit: I cleared it like 2 minutes after posting this, although I kind of cheated by starting my jump on the starting platform, so I had bonus speed before the first platform.
