Watching season 9 (NO SPOILERS PLEASE) and Bert is cracking me up. He doesn’t even mean to be shady but he is. Viktor was so over him.
If this was PR of today Viktor would have said “Of course you would know, you were alive during that time.” But I love the light drama of older seasons where it’s not aggressive and they still focused on working rather than throwing shade in every other sentence.
Season 16’s Amy is so smug. I can’t stand her. In the reunion she couldn’t help but constantly revisit ragging on the twins. (I didn’t like Margarita either) The only thing I loved was when Amy got told she was out and she looked shocked. Awesome!

Hi I watched and enjoyed Sesson 23-first time ever watching! I saw comments here that people liked it better when Tim Gunn was a mentor? I didn’t want to read more here and get spoilers! Should I start at Season 1 (would it be way outdated?) or would you recommend some other order? Thanks!
I’ve been doing a chronological binge of Project Runway and I just finished Season 14 and the finale has really confused me.
This isn’t the first time that my favorite collection hasn’t won. It’s happened with Uli, Korto, Mondo, Viktor and Stanley but here I was gagged that the final two of Ashley and Kelly had by far the two worst of the top four collections. Either way they chose it felt wrong.
I loved Kelly’s work throughout the season was strong and singular but her street wear looks didn’t feel polished or new. It didn’t feel like New York Fashion Week and I could say the same of Ashley who had some real hits throughout the season, but her collection felt rather department store at times.
I didn’t love Candice or Edmond’s all the way through but they both felt a lot more like “fashion week” collections than Kelly and Ashley.
Candice’s especially felt chic, sexy and very representative of her style throughout the competition. I did prefer her more theatrical styling before the judges critiques though so I think her toning it down so significantly might have dimmed the magic of her pieces.
Overall the season felt like a letdown after how much I enjoyed 12 and 13. Hoping it picks up again fingers crossed
I'm rewatching PRW from the beginning and am on Season 6. I'm disappointed they got rid of the two most innovative and conceptual designers right away.
This is going to be such a guilty pleasure show. And the first season is SO 2000s. The talks about people's bodies, how much they expect 16 and 17 year old models to act like adults, the fact that there is apparently not a nurse on set because they keep having to pull sewing needles out of themselves or the other contestants with tweasers. Like.... I fought against watching this for way too long because I really wanted to but it felt "weird" (I'm a trans man and watching this felt so girly for so long but weirdly coming out was what made me able to embrace it, I think partially because I'm such a bi twink).
I have a feeling 3 or 4 seasons in I may be more annoyed with the body talk and stuff, but every once in a while you really just need a guilty pleasure show and I love it and I'm obsessed.
Me and mom started PR months ago and we love it, we started on season one but now we’re on season 17. So far in this season we are not a fan, but could it be just our bias because Heidi and Tim aren’t there? I feel like EVERYTHING is different and it’s strange. What are long time fans thoughts? And in y’all’s opinion does it get better after this season?
I could barely see any of the outfits while watching the show, even with pausing. Idk why they chose to change the videography and editing entirely to NOT show the clothes. Hoping S18 is better videography-wise when it comes to the runway!
Praying someone here can agree (or disagree) with me? The judges always ask for “what’s next” and “fashion forward”, but threw a complete fit over Jeremey’s outfit in S12. Was this not ~the~ going out look for the late 2010s and early 2020s? Knee highs and a mini skirt!
This is a photo from one of the subreddits I follow- Heidi wearing Dreaming Eli Spring ‘27, at an awards show (sorry, didn’t note what it was!).
What do you think ? It reminds me of Anna’s finale collection. I love lace, ruffles, and feminine silhouettes, but think this could have been had some of the details edited to slim down the shape. She looks a bit shipwrecked.
Honestly, I am tired of these horrible attitudes of these designers. All they do is talking shit about others. It might be the editing but they rarely comment another person.
I know attitude sells, but it gives horrible insight on fashion designers.
No one gives constructive criticism.
They need to stop putting the ones with big egos.
Law Roach is a different topic. Idk where Tyra disappeared. Heidi with the most absurd opinions. Nina was absent but she always is straightforward and constructive
Season 11 episode 2 is missing from Hulu (location: Midwest USA). The rest of the season is there, including Road to the Runway (episode "0") and the reunion (episode 15). This isn't the first time I've found random episodes missing. Does anyone know why it's missing? Can I watch it somewhere else?
I was really really exciting about the show this year because last year was impressive.
But I can't stand the truth that models has experienced unfair treating.
