I have seen numerous people get shamed for being on opiate withdrawal medication some of them take pride in being on it but others clearly don’t want anyone to know they indulge in opiates and it’s impossible to hide it when they make u take your methadone and Subutex near everyone.

I’m really interested in working at a prison. I’d love to work at a Cat A prison one day but I feel working at a Cat B or C would be beneficial first and then transferring to my nearest Cat A (Wakefield). If anyone could help point me in the right direction that would be really appreciated!
I have also looked at the youth justice worker role in a YOI and wanted to know whether you can directly transfer and become a prison officer or whether you’d need extra training?

Hi all. Has anyone had to send in their physical copy of their DBS before getting a formal offer of employment? I can't find my certificate (definitely got sent to me) and now I'm worried this will extend and already very long wait. Thanks in advance!
