Best place to find available acreage for sale?

Hi guys. I own property in Ash Fork and in Concho, AZ but would really prefer to be in Prescott. Is there any preferred realtors or forums or postings for land specifically in Prescott and nearby surrounding areas? Or should I just stick with Zillow and Land.com?

Id like a treed 5+ acre lot. I love the Lynx lale area.

Any pointers or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Looking for professional to hook up internet to TVs

We have a rental in diamond valley that we are having trouble with the newly purchased TVs updating firmware. It gave us an error at 99% complete. The TV manufacturer says it need 100mbps to update and CenturyLink is only 60mphs. CenturyLink says that should be enough. Any recommendations for someone who does this type of work that could troubleshoot? We live out of state.

29 & thinking of moving to Prescott

I have always love Prescott since I was a little kid, and I am seriously considering moving there by the start of this upcoming summer

I live in Scottsdale and I just can’t take the heat anymore, this summer was brutal and I can’t stand it anymore

I was thinking of renting a place for a few months, see how I like it, and then explore permanently moving to Prescott

Does anyone have any opinions? Maybe regarding if they think I should move or if my plan of getting up there this upcoming summer makes sense, or if there is a certain area in Prescott that you recommended (I was thinking of moving to the main town Square area)

Request: The View Driving Past In-N-Out Intersection

I know I'm not the only one who has noticed how incredible the view is while sitting at the light next to in-n-out, coming towards downtown Prescott. The way the clouds/Sun hits over Thumb Butte, Mingus, and Casa's massive American Flag blowing in the wind. It all just looks like a perfect art scene.

Request: Does anyone know of any actual scenic artwork that has been done capturing this view? I would really like to buy one!

Beware of ALL AMERICAN SERVICES HOT TUB REPAIR AND JEFF

I’m sharing this as a warning before anyone else hires All American Residential Services for hot tub repairs.
I hired them to diagnose and repair my hot tub. They recommended replacing a $214 heater assembly, but the hot tub still didn’t work afterward. I eventually had to troubleshoot the electrical control system myself and found that the heater wasn’t the actual problem.
Mistakes can happen, but what concerned me was the lack of accountability when I questioned paying for a part that hadn’t fixed anything. Jeff became defensive and, in my opinion, borderline threatening, saying he wasn’t charging me for labor “yet” and demanding payment “today.”
That was not the kind of communication or professionalism I expected from a local service company. The original problem remained, I was out the cost of a part that didn’t solve it, and I was left to figure out the actual issue myself.
I’m posting this so other Prescott residents can make an informed decision. If you hire them, I strongly recommend getting a clear diagnosis, written estimates, and confirmation that the recommended repair is actually addressing the problem before authorizing expensive parts.
My hot tub still needed repair

Anyone know the Templin’s in Prescott?

The family had a lock and key shop at one point many years ago. A friend of mine bought a storage unit and I found a lot of very old photos and personal items of theirs. A lot of the personal stuff belonged to Deb Templin. The gardening Journal was used as a diary. There’s also a very old Bible that looks like it was given to her by her father. I did find her number online but she’s around 87 so I wanted to see if I could possibly find a younger relative to see if they want any of this stuff. I thought calling Deb randomly might be weird. I’m hoping that maybe someone knows the family and can relay the message for me or put me into contact with them.

can i get a ride to a lab for a blood test? from Walker.

you have to pull off pavement to park, but i can make it down the driveway. any time labcorp is open (but i snuck in a bath today, just saying), because my family's sabotaging my attempts at getting a diagnosis again.

transportation back is appreciated but less urgent. it could take an hour (?), and i'll wait if you need to do stuff. i can pay $20 for gas unless that went missing too. please DM if you can help.

wow, she even hid the landline cord, i can't call walgreens to check if they have the test. maybe i can schedule a ride first and do it with a walk-in, i'll ask around.

i may have one, hoping for thursday. thank you.

Early ballot still has not arrived

I'm an Arizona resident that lives out of state (military orders). I'm only one state over in New Mexico.

I received notification that my early ballot was sent out on October 7th. It still hasn't arrived.

Has anyone else who's on the early voting list received theirs? If so, how long did it take to get it?

Any Groom Creek parents here? School bus question

Hi! We’re considering moving to the Groom Creek area near S Loba Drive.

Does anyone here have kids attending Mile High Middle School or Prescott High School?
I’m especially curious whether the school bus picks up near Loba Drive or if parents need to drive their kids to Senator Highway.

I’d also love to know how school transportation works during snowy weather.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who lives in Groom Creek or has firsthand experience.

Thanks so much!

ISO friends

hi girls!! 💗 I’m 22 and live in the Prescott area, and I’m looking to make some new girlfriends! I feel like making friends as an adult is SO hard, especially in a smaller town 😭
I’d love to meet girls who are down for coffee runs, shopping, bookstore dates, getting our nails done, trying new places, country concerts, crafting, or literally just sitting around yapping for hours.
I’m hoping to find genuine friendships where we can make plans, take cute pictures, support each other, and eventually become the kind of friends who can randomly text each other to hang out! 🫶🏻
If you’re around 20–25 and looking for friends too, comment or message me! Let’s make our own little girl group. 🤍

During APS's Fall & Winter Utility Months...

and Using APS's EV Super-Off Peak rates as of Oct 16th and throughout the winter months(see pic for APS's EV program) it cost less than 3 dollars to "fill up" my car and travel about 310 miles on that charge (see calculator)! So if you own an EV and charge mostly at home, contact APS about this program and sign up!

With outrageous gas and diesel prices at the pump and painful high food prices (due to an unconstitutional war w/Iran), charging your vehicle at these APS times, makes sense (sorry for the pun).

Also note that throughout the year the EV overnight OFF Peak program (see pic) for EV owners is still very cheap: about $7.10 for a full charge.

Hope this helps!

Where to put a sports memorabilia item on consignment in Prescott area.

Sadly the place at the mall is no more. I have looked online and am finding mainly antique stores. Maybe someone knows a good place offhand, ideally having either buyer or seller experience at that establishment? TIA
