My Pom is two years old and I’ve been using the over the counter PetArmor plus. For the last three months it worked, she barely scratched. So we moved to new apartment and I didn’t use anymore of the flea med and she began scratching a whole lot. My daughter saw a flea on her so I immediately gave her a flea shampoo wash . I know you can kill fleas using any soap as long as you leave it on for awhile. Well I did get one dead flea off her. I’ve been trying to brush then use a flea comb. The problem is I’m not getting any fleas. If they are all dead then why would she still scratch? Or am I not getting thru her difficult fur? I would appreciate any wisdom from others who have went through this I don’t want her to suffer anymore and I don’t have extra money for a vet right now Having to move wiped me out

Kiki lived to be 12 and a half years old. Had a bad heart and passed away in my home this morning. She was the sweetest, most special thing I ever had or will ever have in my life, and the closest thing I'll ever have to a child. I'm devastated beyond words and lost without her. If anyone wants to offer prayers for my sweet baby girl, I'd appreciate it so much. Thank you for reading.

Today is the first birthday of my pom, his name is Zuko, aka Zuzu aka Zukolas

He is my first dog and is a living Typhoon but I love this chaotic nature of him

Hi all, I’m hoping for some urgent advice regarding my 8-year-old Pomeranian.

Unfortunately, his dental hygiene has become quite poor over the years. My elderly mother looks after him and tends to feed him whatever he wants, which I believe has contributed to significant tooth decay. At his most recent dental cleaning, he had to have seven teeth removed.

Since then, I’ve noticed that he struggles more with chewing harder foods, whether it’s a tougher piece of chicken or certain treats, and I’m becoming increasingly worried about his remaining teeth.
My main concern is that my mother doesn’t really know how to clean or care for his teeth properly, and I want to prevent things from getting any worse. I understand that Pomeranians can be particularly prone to dental problems, so I would really appreciate guidance on what we should be doing at home, what products or foods would be safest, and how best to protect the teeth he still has.

I’m quite worried about him and would really appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank you so much.
