Wroclaw Eu Student
Hi fellow redditors,
I have a question regarding the admission process for EU students.
I want to apply for a masters degree in Wroclaw and I was wondering if I needed my Bachelor's degree in Polish or English? And if I have to transform my grades from the 1-10 system into the 1-5 or not.
I have tried contacting the Admissions Centre Foreign Student Admissions Office, but I got a basic autoreply email imo.

Łowca Upiorów-Zlecenie na wilkołaka
Na moim kanale zamieściłem film pełnometrażowy w którym jako współczesny wiedźmin poluje na wilkołaka. Wszystko oczywiście z przymrużeniem oka i "na śmiesznie". To bezsprzecznie najlepszy film z całej serii jaką nakręciłem. Polecam gorąco!

Discussion Dialog z Prawdą - JZ Cygan
Witam wszystkich. Jestem autorem tekstów piosenek. Zastanawiam się, jak odbieracie ten fragment i czy pewne metafory są zrozumiałe dla osób patrzących na polski bardziej od strony języka niż muzyki. to Poetycki spoken word o spotkaniu z prawdą, która nie wygląda tak, jak się jej spodziewamy. To opowieść o zmianie perspektywy, w której rozmówca stopniowo odkrywa, że nie on obserwuje prawdę. To prawda obserwuje jego.
Tekst:
Przysiadła się do mnie prawda.
Nie pachniała lawendą. W źle dobranych butach, ubrudzona błotem, z rozmytym makijażem, rzekła:
"No dobra. Pogadajmy."
I patrzy.
Jak gekon z maślanymi oczami. I jak modliszka, co nie pyta o zgodę. Albo jak muchy, które wiedzą lepiej. Czy jak uśmiech kamienia, co pływać nie umie.
Nieśmiało spytałem:
"Jak długo szłaś?"
Wzruszyła ramionami.
"Częściej pytają, dokąd idę, a nie skąd powracam."
Zamyśliłem się chwilę. Potem spytałem:
"A gdzie mieszkałaś wcześniej?"
"Mieszkałam kiedyś za szafą u jednego takiego poety. Lecz czas był mi ruszyć w drogę, bo ciągle poprawiać mnie chciał."
Odrzekłem:
"No dobra. Pogadajmy. Ale dlaczego właśnie tutaj przysiadłaś?"
Prychnęła uśmiechem spod nosa.
"Wolne było, więc jestem. A poza tym przyszłam zobaczyć, co zrobisz ze mną."

Grammar Future tense oddity.
Dzień dobry! So far I’ve been knowing that after “być” at future tense (będę, będziesz, będzie etc.) you put the verb that follows it at infinitive like in Russian (będę czytać, będziesz rozmawiać etc.). BUT, my today’s Duolingo lesson taught me an oddity of the future tense that I didn’t know about: apparently, in some contexts, the verb that follows “być” at future tense is put at PAST tense (będę czytał, będziesz rozmawiała etc.). What’s with this, and in which contexts is it used exactly? If you know Romanian/Russian, can you also explain to me with translations in these languages?

Is there anyone who can understand what she says?
It sounds like ancient Polish or some ancient Slavic language

Request This might be a strange request but..
So ive been learning to speak polish for 6/7 months now, and one of the ways i like to learn is through songs. I know about 11 now, a random mix of actual songs and some that my polish friend wrote.
Are there any native polish speakers here who'd be willing to listen to a recording of me singing the ones my friend has written, and letting me know if I'm pronouncing anything wrong or anything before I make a fool out of myself singing them for him 😬😂 Warning:I'm not a very good singer! 🤣I just find singing incredibly helpful for making words stick

Seeking Polish Language Learning
Hello,
I will be in Krakow for one week in November (1-7). From the 2-6, I would like to find someone who could meet up with me for 1-2 hours each day to help me get more comfortable with speaking. Time of day can be flexible, I do want to see the city as well. I will pay for their time (and coffee) of course. Any ideas? Thank you!!

I built a free site to find films and TV with Polish audio or subtitles
Cześć,
I'm Ben, a data scientist working in cancer medicine in the UK. In my spare time I've built a free website called LingScout.
It originally started because my Thai partner and I wanted an easier way to find films and TV with the audio or subtitle languages we wanted, and I gradually expanded it so other language learners could use it too.
For anyone learning Polish, LingScout can help find films and TV available with Polish audio or subtitles in your country and across different streaming services.
Main site: https://lingscout.com
Polish page: https://lingscout.com/browse#language=polish
LingScout is completely free and doesn't require an account. The moderators kindly gave me permission to share it here.
I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback about whether it's useful or what would make it better for Polish learners, but there's no obligation to leave feedback. I hope it helps anyone looking for something to watch.
Thanks, Ben
