Advice i-Type Pokémon frame order (all 16?)
Disclaimer: It is pretty much certain there are 16 i-Type frames, but Polaroid says there are 18 (There might be 2 more, or Polaroid meant 2 Go frames in addition to 16 i-Type frames). Also some frames may be skipped due to rejection during production.

- Bulbasaur - Light Teal
- Charmader - Orange
- Squirtle - Light Blue
- Gengar - Lavender

Gear Halloween Frames
Was able to get some Halloween, and holiday, frames from Zach and I am so excited to use them in the next week or two! Did anyone else order any?! Or have any special ideas you’re using them for?

Question Job 600 Vintage Polaroid Having Issues
Had this camera for years, never had issues before. One day a week ago I put a new cartridge of film in and it started making this grinding noise. It’s not supposed to do anything after you put a new film cartridge in it until you close the bottom latch, then it’ll push out the top black cardboard layer. So it making a noise as soon as I try to seat the film cartridge is weird. Given, as I said, there shouldn’t be any gears moving until I close the latch. I’ve tried two packages of film, so I know it isn’t the film. Any ideas?

Question I need help with lighting, specifically with my Polarpid SX-70R
First, thanks to anyone who can give advice. I am getting ready to set up a more permanent photo studio and need help with what is next steps. The exposures on my Go 3 were great, but I struggle still with the SX-70. Please read about my weird set up. Constructive and helpful feedback is great, but dont be a jerk please, I am teaching myself as I go and dont always know what I know and dont know✌️
edit: photos snapped Wednesday evening, so 1.5 days ago. just so you know where we are in development. I use a white savage paper backdrop, I want the backdrop whiter...its so dingy in every sx 70 pic I snapped. I dont expect perfect white though.
The set up: continuous video light, daylight balanced, with a large umbrella but no diffuser. Two continuous smaller "portrait" lights with small reflective umbrellas. Because of my camera's calibration, I have been using Mint on +1 with two layers of tracing paper over the flash. If i shot on middle auto no diffusion, people's skin is over exposed. -1 no diffusion, skin is good but background is gone. I shot my SX-70 at +1 exposure, so its kinda like shooting in neutral auto but also not.
Issue 1: lighting itself. I am in a program that has thankfully paid for a lot of my lights. They recently approved $1000 towards a flash, but to get everything that was suggested to me, it would have been like $1300. So I tried to cut corners and naively thought I could use a phone or something for the remote, I really mean I am self taught and trying my best but this is all quite overwhelming because I am learning this without someone helping me in person (my husband has a digital camera and doesnt need all this light, so I really am in the dark). Will finding a way to save/afford the remote fix my dark background problem?
Because there may be the option of...
Issue 2: the SX-70 Revolution app. I have shot nice photos with the lights and no flash using spot metering in the app. i have on regular auto, too, but it struggles with dark skin in my studio setting. The issue is, I have to put the camera on a tripod or do weird stuff like, while sitting in a chair, focus, then balance cam with right hand and shoot on my tablet with left hand (I cannot get the android app to work). Or put it on a tripod, which doesnt seem to work well for my style of shooting, where I use weird angles, lie on the ground, etc. I could do self timer, but then I have a time limit to get into position, which is difficult because I have scoliosis, I really have to be patient to do my work or I will suffer for days and days after.
I have people coming over next weekend to help me clear everything out of my shed, which means I can set up more permanent fixtures. Should I be focusing first on getting the remote for the flash? Or should I be getting lighting that can mount to the ceiling? Is there other stuff I can do? Digital and 35mm is perfectly fine for what I have, but as a an intermediate* with Polaroid, I struggle a lot on my own to try to figure this out. Nobody I know shoots Polaroid with a camera like mine. Because "just shoot on auto" does not cut it when you really understand what is possible with this amazing film.
Suggestions. Tips. Brainstorm. Anything, please, your help is truly appreciated 🙏
*no, I do not consider myself advanced or professional, even if my photos are pretty good compared to the casual shooter, this is a fucking difficult medium
edit: fuck I misspelled polaroid in the title. my thumb always hits the P and I have to constantly fix it. you can only proofread 'polapoid' so many times before your brain stops registering it

Gear Has anyone ever modified the viewfinder on the Flip?
Just curious, because the viewfinder on the flip is notoriously small and has bad parallax (even if i love the camera.) Has anyone done any modifications like u/theinstantcameraguy 's mod for the Lomo Instant?
