Hey everyone!
I've been working on a little side project and figured I'd share it here in case anyone else finds it useful!
I put together a free, browser-based Living Dex tracker covering 20 Pokémon games across Generations 1–5. The goal was to have everything I needed to complete a Living Dex in one place.
What does it do?
- 20 Games, Individual Progress: Each game has its own checklist, so you can work on multiple Living Dexes independently.
- Pokémon Locations: Encounter locations, rates, levels, and alternative methods for obtaining each Pokémon.
- Evolution & Breeding: Evolution requirements, breeding methods, and how many copies you'll need to complete an evolution line.
- Trades & Exclusives: Information on Pokémon that need to be obtained from other games, including where to find them.
- Search & Filters: Search by Pokémon, Pokédex number, route, or game. Filter by region or acquisition method, and hide Pokémon you've already caught.
- Automatic Progress Saving: Your progress is saved locally in your browser, so you can pick up where you left off.
- Import & Export Progress: Since progress is currently stored locally, you can export your collection data and import it on another device to keep your progress up to date across devices.
- Game-Specific Sprites: Pokémon sprites matching their respective games, Poké Ball checkboxes, and catch animations.

A little about the project ❤️
This is a completely free, fan-made community project. No ads, no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no monetization of any kind.
With the amount of Pokémon and game-specific information involved, I'm sure there are some things I've overlooked.
If you give it a try, I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback! Whether it's incorrect encounter data, something that isn't working properly, or a feature you think would be useful, I'd love to hear about it.
You can also open an issue on GitHub if you come across anything that needs fixing.
Hopefully this makes completing a Living Dex a little less tedious for anyone else working on one.
Happy hunting, and good luck catching 'em all! ✨
