in all my years i’ve never even seen a mimikyu let alone gotten one. using my adventure incense one popped up. normally, if you back out most pokemon will stay and you can click on them again. i had JUST bought my mimikyu outfit yesterday and wanted to take a screenshot of him on the ground. within two seconds he was gone. i’ve never been so upset at a game before in my life

I’m so HAAAAAPPYYYY!! I logged on today (as a VERY casual player), saw a rocket balloon, started the fight and saw the Mudkip and thought ‘Oh cool, I get a shadow Mudkip’ then I won and OH MY GOD ITS A SHINYYYYYYY (other than it being rare, it’s my first shadow shiny and I love Mudkip. I have about 30+ regular shinies or so. This is my new third fav shiny only losing to my shiny Halloween hat Greninja and my shiny Rayquaza)

I'm shaking! I want to evolve it right away but don't have enough candies. Please drop a name for it.

like seriously they havent had this warning but they had warnings for event pokemon??? backgrounds??? all of those are shown jn the pokemon screen as opposed to this

I’m in California and just found out that my last remaining pokemon for the Kanto region is unavailable 😭 No complaint, just sad haha. I’m very much so a completionist when it comes to games and was hoping to complete the 151.

For the last few days there has been a Poliwrath that spawns near me with this yellow/gold ring. I've caught it multiple times but it just keeps coming back and I can't seem to find anything about what this is? If anyone could share some info it would be greatly appreciated because I'm curious as to why it keeps coming back

First shiny of the day and it's Smeargle?! 🤯

I don't know the shiny rate of this pokemon but it's amazing that we can get a shiny Smeargle outside of events! Because back then we had to wait for a specific event that allows Smeargle to be shiny. 😅

But I really want to know if it's still boosted or base odds...

I got a remote trade request (lucky) this morning and they have a Pom Pom Oricorio on their list that has 20 days left before it can be traded; since getting the Sensu in a lucky trade a couple weeks ago I decided I wanted to collect all of them as luckies bc why not?

So I messaged the trainer on campfire and changed my buddy name to try and get them to check it, thinking “this literally never works for me but I’ll try it anyways”

They responded! And I’ll be getting my lucky Pom Pom Oricorio in exchange for a Pansear I was going to transfer so that is just awesome, I’m so happy😭

Side question: the Pansear is currently a 15/15/14, can lucky trades make the IV worse?

Is it just me or the whole and CONSTANT changes and nesting of items within tabs is beyond confusing????
This is SO FREACKING UNNECESSARY -For all these changes and tabs and nesting researches and putting daily, timed, monthly researches and putting shit in new places for NO REASON whatsoever. Like daily incense and then putting some extra tabs and subdivision for various searches. WHAT IS GOING ON?? Who was the original set up inconvenient to even that all of this is needed. Every time I log on now, some new tab and nesting within a tab within a tab is being introduced. Who TH works for this company anymore? Definitely not actual players/trainers of the game.

Don't worry, it's not an iPad kid situation. We set up a kid's account for him on her phone and monitored him as we walked through the park.

Anyway, literally the first Pokémon that he clicked on (a Doduo) was shiny.

Reminds me of when I showed my mom how to play back in year one and she got a Snorlax right off the bat.

how does one catch a shiny shadow zekrom, but cannot catch a ditto after 10 years of playing. i ask my homies for tips but i feel like ditto repellent was put onto my account. im patiently waiting for the next spotlight event in which a pokemon is one of ditto’s disguises. my homie did that and caught like 5 dittos. raaageeeee
