A buyer messaged me that most cards he gets are worst than listed condition. Im sure thats true. But tells me to cancel if its not and threatens negative feedback. He purchased a near mint card for $15. A 7 goes for twice as much and an 8 goes for ten times as much.

Seems like he's just buying near mint cards with high resell for good grades. Im going to refund and block him but im wondering how well it works out for him?

Messaging to let seller know to refund if its not to his standards could weed out cheap cards that wouldn't grade high. Im sure sellers also wouldn't mind refunding him low cost amounts to avoid negative feedback and not deal with the hassle for a few dollars.

I picked this card up today for $140 (small whitening on back), it’s pretty low pop, PSA total pop of like 325, and a PSA 10 just sold for 20k. Is this actually a desirable card? Would you grade it?

Thoughts on sugimori autos long term? Was thinking if this market would explode in the future?

Can someone help me understand why some cards' PSA 10 is worth x10 raw and others not even x2? Is it just the gem rate? If so, how does gem rate (or other factor) affect whether it's a better or worse investment? The example photo is what got me confused, because I feel like SIR of Venusaur is a good hold, but the low PSA 10 value caught me off guard. Thanks for any help!!

Looking for some serious advice / opinions here. I know these cards are going crazy right now, but is the time to sell now or hold longer? Hey everyone, so I currently am in the midst of almost completing the entire XY full art (including secret rares) and I was just wondering how will these cards fair in the future if I keep most of them raw. I maybe plan to grade the most expensive ones but most of the collection will be raw. Is this an entire collection a good long term hold? I collected these kids because they were my favorites but at one point in the future if they go up a lot I would probably sell. So how do you think these cards will look price wise?

All of these cards were pulled by myself as a kid. They have been sitting in a box in my old room at my parents' house since release. My question to the community is, what are the most secure options to get real estimates on what my collection is worth? What apps can give the most reliable pre-grade estimate (e.g. Collectr and TCG)? Which grading companies do people trust (other than PSA)?

As you can see it has the odd crease on the corners.

What’s the best way to go about setting a price? Not asking for an exact figure. Just rough idea.

Recently this card has skyrocketed, eBay sold listings are 9k+ was just looking for some guidance on what I should do. Is this a card I should hold on to, or strike while the iron is hot. I have people offering 7k, which sounds amazing, I would just hate to sell and have it jump up again. I know it’s impossible to know the market 100% and what will continue to rise, but I thought you all could give me a little insight here. Thanks a million.

I heard they had a licensing agreement, but I don’t know if its true.
Bottom line is, if these get reprinted in another language they will crash. If they dont get reprinted, they will moon.

Just trying to better learn and understand how it all works when it comes to psa grading, pricing, value, and ebay. I'm filtering listings by Sold + Completed.

Why would someone ever pay $4999 for this card, if all of the other sold listings from the past 2 months are around the $300-$400?

Did someone actually pay that much for the card? Or is this a strategy from PSA?

So I bought a booster box of the PE out of nostalgia, not knowing the difficult pull rates and hoping to get an Umbreon just for myself. I bought it on a whim. Do i grade or sell raw?
