Wipes reset the map. They don’t reset Hydra.

Hydra Premades has an established history and name in World of Warcraft. Now we’re carrying that community into Rust: bringing people together, building something lasting, and establishing our empire one wipe at a time.

We’re looking for people willing to stick around as we grow. Fighters, farmers, builders, organizers, complete beginners—there’s room for everyone willing to learn and contribute. The atmosphere is casual, and our plans reach well beyond the next wipe.

No experience required. Patience and participation are.

Some of our players have fewer than 100 hours. You’re welcome to ask basic questions, make mistakes, and find your footing. We also want people willing to try things outside their usual comfort zone: join an encounter, take part in a group event, or learn a role you haven’t played before. We’ll learn together.

Lose a full AK kit because you’re inexperienced? Take a breath. If you learned something, we’ve got something to build on. We’ll work on getting replacement kits together and give you another chance to sharpen those skills. Gear is there to be used, and confidence takes practice.

That patience goes both ways. Be willing to listen, take advice, and give the other new folks the same room to learn.

Experienced PvPers: we’re actively looking for you, too.

Bonus points if you enjoy teaching. If you can stay patient while newer teammates learn positioning, communication, and how to handle a fight, I’ll make sure you’re equipped with the best gear we can reasonably manage. Your experience can help the whole group improve.

We’re currently focusing on non-premium, biweekly vanilla servers while our newer players get established. As the group develops, we’ll adapt together, using votes to decide major moves and changes.

Our WoW roots give us a community to build from. In Rust, we want to earn that same recognition through the people we bring together, the fights we learn from, and the presence we establish over time.

Welcome to the server 

We have plugins such as kits, teleports, and skins RC 

I'm sure everyone's getting sick of these kinds of posts, but as a solo player, I feel like if you're not playing Rust 48 hours straight after wipe, you're shit out of luck.

I jumped on one of the Moose Premier NA servers (can't remember the exact name), and it had over 700 players online. Fresh wipe, built myself a little starter bunker, got a T1 workbench down, and that was about it. Put in roughly 12 hours over two days, which I thought wasn't too bad.

Well, when I logged back in and opened my door, there was a goddamn city built around me. LOL. I couldn't even move 10 feet without running into someone. Meanwhile, everyone's running around with T2 guns, and I haven't even got a bloody T1 gun yet.

At that point, I just said fuck it and gave up.

So for you solo players who actually manage to survive on these insanely high-pop servers, what's the trick? How the hell are you getting to T2 without playing Rust like it's a full-time job? I don't even care about T3. I just want to stand a fighting chance.

And one more thing... ^{WTF is going on with the cheaters?}

I thought things were supposed to be getting better?

On another server, I spotted some guy way off in the distance making a straight beeline for my little base. I had my view distance cranked right up, so I could see him coming. Next thing I know, he's C4ing my metal door.

started making my way up a hill. The second I got near the top, this guy was already ADS, peeking around the corner, aimed right at where I was coming from. Like, come on, man. LOL.

I've also been seeing a bunch of level 0 Steam accounts and others that haven't even bothered setting up a profile.

And seriously, why the hell did Facepunch decide to give previously banned cheaters a second chance after eight months? Who thought that was a good idea?

I love Rust, but holy shit, between trying to keep up with people who apparently don't sleep and wondering if every other guy is cheating, it's getting pretty frustrating.

So seriously, solo players on high-pop servers, what's your secret?

Coalheart is a Rust server with a Frostpunk-style survival layer. You gather, build and raid as in plain Rust, but the world is frozen and the cold is the fourth enemy. One walled city burns round a Furnace the players feed together. Let it die and everyone freezes.

• Safe city inside the wall: rent a home, eat in the Dining Hall, trade, take jobs
• PvP and raids outside it, where your warmth is your own
• Whiteouts, long nights and the Great Storm at the end of every wipe
• Vote the city's laws, research together, earn titles over many wipes
• Citizens with names, jobs and stories who remember what you do
