Hello everyone, I am now facing some troubles of giant creatures' spawn in my ase ragnarok solo world. I have several mods installed, including creatures finder deluxe, s+ and some other utility mods.

Even though I have -preventhibernation option turned on, I face serious difficulties with giga, carcha and titan spawn: When I create new save, gigas and titans spawn properly (~6 gigas and 1 titan), unlike carcha does, but after using "destroywilddinos" it looks like ther spawn... blocked? They don't spawn at all! I tried turning preventhibernation option off, tried to fly around their spawns, but it doesn't work.

Can someone help me with my issue please?

I'm talking about a rage quit that made you delete the game, a rage quit so powerful you almost threw your controller out the window, what was the last straw? This includes both ASE and ASA

I looooove that game. so i wanted to play.

unluckly its its like completly dead and thats why i lokked if something like thsi exists AND i found a sketchy tutorial on some random forumbut that was click-bait but i fumbled me up and are on a mod creation!.. did never really created a mod before.. but learning about unreal engine and ark npc mods right now. my main problem is that the modkits for the steam version ar like as dead as the game itself. means u cant get and official download its its complcated and buggy. but i wanted it for the old steam one because its better than the new one in ascended in my opinion. and even because its so dead its even better to get a singleplayer. means if someone got one of thisold devkits anywhere just text me at discord bc i dont think im checking this post (discord is rayssr0):

sooo. ive seen that 2026 - mid 2027 a new updated free ark survival ascended mod (as like sotf but in ascended) is annunced. thats why im struggleing because this where so much easyer then getting the stuff and shit for the steam version. its also on UE 5 and the old ones on UE 4.. means easyer ways at coding....

so plan is: if i get he old devkit somewhere i try to make a UE4 steamverson-based mod and update it as an extesion for the UE5 ASA mod. . but if thats not really possible - or would not work in playable quality then im coding a UE5 ASA mod extesion.

also a thing is that there is a chance the new mod even has a singleplayer.. that means its dumb to grind like 4 months or smth for the same alrdy released stuuf right? so if i cant really create one for the old steam version ill first have to know if the new asa mod already has an singleplayer feature.

so at the end: my plan is to create a mod that adds some AI-bots to your game that are your enemys. plan is to make the mod server/multicompactible too but thats an step further)

u can expect a full playable version for the steam one in ca. 4 months. depends on how fast i get the devkit/ and how many problems it makes at the end. (thats if its possible. i think its like 80% to 20% tha i do that.)

I wa gonna hate on the ark addition creatures and then I realized I was breeding brachiosauruses, acros, and deinos. Yeah. i was also gonna hate on dragontopia later but I dont think its worth it​

I’m a novice discovering things, but I’d like to see your opinion about the game.

What should I do?

Do you have missions or can I just live making a base, taming and looking for epic dinosaurs?

And this game has a chronology of what to do, to reset?

So my fiance and I are playing non-dedicated and twice today we've had randoms join. If he toggles the privacy setting, it doesn't let me join and says not allowed to join private server.

For me, it has to be way back when I was in late grade one and only seven years old.

I had been playing ASE a lot earlier, and I had used commands to summon a lot of tames, one being a beautiful soft-brown and light-lavender feathered Deinonychus I named Nova.

Nova was my favorite tame.

But just days later, I turned around for two seconds, and all of my tames (I think I had some Wyverns) rushed over to where I had left Nova.

I was a tiny child and confused. What could be happening? My little brain didn't have the knowledge that something terrible could happen any minute back then.

And then the message appeared.

A Tickle-Chicken had killed Nova.

But I was also in Creative Mode, like always, so I had the complete power to fly over there and use the admin gun and kill the large feathery beast.

I was devastated.

Now, I rarely leave any of my tames alone for a second, or I put them in a Cryopod.

Idk why but I was thinking of the floating shopping list from SpongeBob when I first saw this lol

My partner is the one actually playing the game I'm sat next to him and watching/helping so I looked at a forum for why this might be and the two things that I saw being suggested were to wait 15-20 minutes in the trench for them to spawn, and to use the destroy all wild Dinos command and then wait an in-game day and go back, but neither of those worked??? I was hoping someone here would know what to do or how to fix it

Started playing ASA again after a year and noticed ASA taking forever to launch with BattlEye. It used to be fast. I spent an afternoon narrowing it down using the `-log` console ("Full Startup" time) and I'm out of ideas.

The online result stays at 87–101 s no matter what I change:

- Process Lasso, PIA VPN and ExitLag fully closed (incl. their services)

- IPv6 disabled

- Mobile hotspot instead of home network (so not my router/ISP)

- Windows Firewall off, proxy auto-detect off

- Defender real-time and cloud protection off

- NVIDIA NGX / DLSS override files moved away

- RivaTuner, Epic overlay, Stream Deck, Discord closed

- Clean BattlEye reinstall (deleted Common Files\BattlEye, ran Install_BattlEye.bat, verified files)

Other observations:

- During the slow phase the game sits at ~0% CPU/GPU with almost no disk activity, so it's waiting, not working

- The console status bar hangs on "Loading Module NGXVulkanRHIPreInit" and later "StreamlineD3D12RHI"

- netstat shows no hanging TCP connections from ASA or BattlEye during the wait

- Smart App Control and kernel-mode stack protection are off, Memory Integrity is on

System: Windows 11 26H2 (build 26300.9711, installed Oct 9, October security update KB5127648 on Oct 16), RTX 4090 Laptop GPU with latest driver, 64 GB RAM, ASA v94.34 installed on a secondary drive.

Is anyone else seeing slow BattlEye startups lately, especially on 26H2? Any idea what BattlEye could be waiting for online that it skips when offline?

My son’s PC has a 1 TB drive. ARK: Survival Ascended takes up around 250 GB, and even a small 1 GB update can require another 220 GB of free space on top of the installed game.

Having to uninstall other games just to update one game got frustrating, so I built Steam In-Place Patcher.

Instead of staging a full new copy of ARK’s huge files, it downloads the changed chunks and rearranges the existing data directly inside the installed files.

For the update shown in the screenshots:

• 7.31 GiB downloaded
• Around 10 GB of extra space, instead of roughly 220 GB
• Resumable downloads and SHA-1 verification
• A browser interface with progress tracking
• Steam login through the mobile app’s QR scanner

It’s open source and available as a standalone Windows exe. It was built for ARK, but supports selecting other installed Steam games too.

O título já é meio que explicativo, mas estou usando o radmin para abrir um servidor dedicado só lan, já que meu provedor de internet decidiu me cobrar um bom extra para eu abrir as portas.

Estou com um problema e já quebrei muito a cabeça com esse servidor. Depois de muito tempo consegui fazer com que ambos os mapas apareçam para eles e eles conseguirem entrar sem problemas.

Depois disso eu arrumei o cluster, que também não estava funcionando e, ao instalar o Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter no meu pc, deu certo eu fazer a transferência de mapa.

Tentei fazer o mesmo no deles, mas sem sucesso. Eles conseguem entrar nos dois mapas sem problemas, mas não conseguem realizar a transferência de forma alguma. Estava usando IA para me ajudar mas ela fica andando em círculos e não ajuda com nada realmente muito útil. Alguém que já passou por isso tem alguma ideia de como eu possa resolver esse problema? Só está faltando isso para que eu consiga estar com o servidor 100%.
