Help!!! Which one??

Guys idk much about phones

Looking into 3 right now

  1. Redmi turbo 5

  2. Nothing 4b

  3. Moto edge 70 (not the fusion one cuz of curved display)

Want a decent processor that can work for atleast 4 years (hope it works more)

Good camera and good battery, shouldn't heat too much (like the one I'm currently using heats up randomly at times, can't watch yt for long on it, even on calls it heats up too much sometimes, but it's old now so yeah)

Gaming once in a while

I've heard redmi one heats up a lot? Should I avoid it? (Wanted to get the redmi one personally

Which of the above 3 should I get??

S23 Ultra vs Z Fold8

I’ve been using my S23 Ultra for over 2 years and I’m still really happy with it. Recently I won a Z Fold8 in a contest. This is actually my second Fold8: I won one earlier this year too, sold it sealed, and honestly regretted never even trying it. Now I have another chance, and I can’t decide whether to switch or sell it again.

What I’d miss from the S23 Ultra: I use the S Pen a lot, and I know the Fold8 doesn’t support it. I’m also a bit worried about the crease, dust getting into the hinge, and the extra weight.

What draws me to the Fold: watching series and football on the big screen while commuting, multitasking, and the camera.

For those of you using the Fold8:

  1. Did you miss the S Pen if you came from an Ultra?
  2. How has the hinge and the inner screen held up after a few months?
  3. Is the weight or thickness noticeable day to day?
  4. If you were in my shoes, would you open it or sell it sealed?

Thanks in advance!

US Buying my first decent phone need advice.

I live in the US, budget is flexible but really don't want to spend over 1k if possible. Not interested in a Chinese brand phone unless I can't find any other options.

Currently using an old Motorola g stylus from 2021. I like the size and battery life but I mostly use it for games and it's pretty weak, can't do 3d games at all.
Wanting to upgrade but even after doing tons of research I just keep going back and forth. Feels like every phone has some deal breaker.

My father used Samsungs and always liked them. I looked at the S25 Ultra and the S26 lineup in particular but things like a green line, battery quickly draining/heating up/bursting/exploding worry me. I know that every product has its quality issues and I'm sure the vast majority of users don't experience problems but this is an investment for me. I can't afford to buy again in a year or two I need to make it last at least 4 or 5 years.

Also reviews are all over the place. Some say it stays cool while gaming others say it turns into lava in 30 minutes and shuts down. Others say the phone lasts all day others say you'll drain the whole battery just playing games for a few hours. It's just so hard to figure out what to believe.

The other phone I was considering was the upcoming Motorola Signature 27. Mostly because I'm already used to Motorola and its coming with the newest chip so figured it would be pretty good for games. Seems to have a bigger battery too.
But I see people complaining about software and updates for Motorola phones but I don't really get that either. Nothing on my current phone that hasn't updated in years has stopped working. If I'm not working for some elite corporation or the government do I really need constant updates?

There's also those gaming phones like the red magic but people say they fall apart after a couple of years and it feels like I'm sacrificing too much just to focus on one thing.

Right now I am leaning towards the S25 Ultra or S26 Ultra but I'm really not confident in my choice. The more time I spend researching the more issues I find with every single phone including those two. No one seems happy with what they have. There's just too many options and I have no idea what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Need help regarding phone

So basically I'm gonna buy my first phone. Here are the things I'm looking for:

  1. Goated software

  2. Longevity and software updates

  3. I don't need good gaming experince I won't play much ,aybe a bit of fc one in a while I just want the game not make the mobile slow.

  4. I can live with a decent camera.

I was looking for nord 5 but it seems unavailable rn. I'm open to one plus and samsung. I was looking for the Samsung a56 256 gb variant isn't it a bit too pricey for the mobile? Should I wait ? Or should I buy it? will it last me another 6 years or so? And any other recommendations y'all might have?

Good Cheap Android Phones

Hello!

I wanted to make a post because this has been on my mind, and I'm not sure if it's just me with rose tinted glasses. A few months ago I moved from a Pixel 6 to a Moto G Stylus. I wanted something with expandable storage (part of the reason I moved away from my Pixel 6 is because I ran out of storage), and I didn't have a lot of money to get an expensive phone. While I overall liked the Moto G, I did notice it was slower and laggier than my Pixel 6, which at this point was released 5 years ago. I accidentally dropped my Motorola, shattering the screen, and so have moved back to my Pixel 6. It's still going great, however the charging port port doesn't hold wires anymore, so charging is iffy.

With this, I've started thinking about what to do if my Pixel 6 just stops charging. When I was first getting into smartphones, I remember phones like the Nexus 5, or OnePlus 3T which were about $300 phones but could keep up or outperform the much more expensive iPhones at the time. Do those sort of phones still exist? I get with inflation $300 may be too cheap now, but I'm just not aware of really good but affordable phones.

Looking to replace my secondary phone

Had a Galaxy Note 9 Exynos which I bought when it was available in my country (7-8 years), been using it as a secondary phone ever since. Then I put LineageOS on it and it's still going to this day but it's definitely showing its age in more ways than one.

I want something compact, not too expensive, will get at least 4 years of software updates. Priorities from high to low: Battery life, good software (closest to stock Android), performance (not too high performance; don't game on this phone), cameras (not a camera guy).

Thinking about either Nothing Phone (4a) Pro or Pixel 10a, but want your thoughts!
