I’m tired of «This is the best pedal ever»-videos, so I tried to make a different kind of pedal video. But does it make sense to anyone else than me?

I've wanted to try an original Lovetone for years, and finally got my hands on a Doppelganger Mk I!

It's a rather unusual 4-stage optical phaser with two LFOs and tons of possibilities for experimentation.

The video starts with a full mix (guitars, bass, synth, drums), followed by separate guitar and bass demos.

There aren't many good modern recordings of this rare pedal, so I thought I'd share mine. Hope you enjoy it!

Octavia style fuzz can be unruly, and isn’t that part of the fun? What’s your favorite octave fuzz box?

Cello + reverbs is Ambient heaven

Walrus Audio took some big leaps forward when they released this one. Mako D1 MKII includes new menu screens, encoder knobs, and some upgrades to the delay programs. Everything about this pedal felt like D1 reached its final evolution.

The Big Time by and needs no introduction. If you're here watching and reading this, you probably know what it is. If not, let me tell you, this is the collaboration we've all been waiting for between the two teams at Chase Bliss and EAE. Honestly, does anyone collaborate better than Chase Bliss?

BIG TIME is a hybrid echo that blends the best of analog and digital and revisits the mixed-up circuitry of rackmount delays from the early 80s, where advanced analog engineering was used to prop up crude digital systems. It includes both a stereo analog preamp at the input stage, and a stereo analog limiter within the delay’s feedback loop. Inside you will find misbiased modulations, dissolving loops, sequenced echoes, and all of the space stuff you could ever want. The anything-is-possible of digital, the everything-sounds-good of analog.

It's stereo with analog dry thru, 32 bit / 48 kHz, and so much more. It's what we wished was coming when Thermae was discontinued.

You know the drill on these videos, gather together with us and listen to the sounds we come up with as we push some faders and press some buttons.

NOTE: The first sound you hear is not the factory preset, but one I made. Also, we intentionally do NOT dive into the looper here, but we do try and hit everything else.

Watch as we move along through the controls, or just listen and see what tickles your ears! I promise you it's a treat!
