Hi guys,
I’ve been doing UWorld questions and I am going through each section one by one until I feel good about it and then go to the next.
And then by the time I finish the next topic I’ve forgotten the one from before.
In nursing school I used a lot of flash cards to really hammer the info in. But I’m running low on time and energy these days.
It’s been a while since graduation so to some unfortunate events and trying to take my NCLEX now.
Need all the advice please and thank you!

Hi there, support moment need.
4th of November I have RN Nclex and I am preparing with Uworld. Cause I do not have parameters, I wish to have the feedback about my scores. at the moment:
CAT= >70% scores, percentile 89th in one and 99th in others, difficulty levels around 1.20, on track
Practice= same medium of 70%, difficulty 0.90
Performance= 70% point with 19% qbanks usage.
what do you think? there are chances? sometime I feel very illiterate and down

Hello!!! I need someone to be honest with me because waiting this long for my results is killing meeee. I finished my NCLEX this morning in 85 questions! I was shocked and I’m sure I failed. I got about 6 Case studies, delegation and peds questions and some SATA. The thing is though they seemed relatively easy and like I should know the answer. My anxiety got the best of me and I started second guessing. Idk maybe I need to have a little more faith in myself but I find it really hard to believe I passed. Also!!! I took the predictor test on Uworld the night before and got a 43% and low chance of passing the NCLEX. I told myself not to worry about that number and do the best I can, but apart of me is saying there’s no way the nclex should have been that easy and I passed that quickly you know? Idk maybe I’m over thinking it but it feel like I’m not.

Hi! For my fellow NCLEX repeat takers, would you guys be interested in starting a group chat where we can support, motivate, and help each other through the process? I feel like it would be nice to have people who genuinely understand what we're going through!

Figure out which step you're missing, not just which question
Why this matters for your score
Many NCLEX items (matrix, highlight, drag-and-drop, bowtie) give partial credit. That means shallow guessing costs you points across the whole item, and solid reasoning earns points even when you don't get everything right. Knowing how you think matters more than ever.
The six steps NCLEX is built on
Recognize cues. What's relevant in the chart?
Analyze cues. What do these findings mean together?
Prioritize hypotheses. What's the biggest threat right now?
Generate solutions. What should the plan include or avoid?
Take action. What do you do, and in what order?
Evaluate outcomes. Better, worse, or the same?
Why memorizing alone fails
Context changes the answer. The same value can be urgent or expected depending on the patient.
Cases evolve. The patient changes across questions, so you have to keep re-reading the data.
Every option sounds right. You're choosing what fits this patient now.
How to use it in your last weeks of prep
Do full case studies daily if you can.
Tag every miss with its step and find your weak spot.
Talk through cases out loud: "see → mean → matters most → do → did it work."
Keep light flashcard review for labs and meds, but make cases the main event.
Your score improves faster when you fix how you think, not just what you know.

Let’s start with the good news! I took my exam yesterday, and it shut down at 85 questions. I was so happy but also a little scared.
This morning at 8 AM, I received an email saying, “Congratulations, you passed!” along with my license number. I cried, I laughed, and I honestly can’t put the feeling into words.
I finished nursing school in NYC in July 2025, but my husband and I decided to travel around the country to find our forever home before I took the NCLEX.
Once we settled down, I spent three months studying with Archer. I watched all the videos, attended the Zoom classes, and completed all the available questions. Unfortunately, I failed my first attempt.
I requested a refund through Archer’s Sure PASS Guarantee, but they denied it, claiming their system showed I hadn’t watched all the videos, even though I had.
After that experience, I switched to Mark Klimek’s review videos on YouTube, Bootcamp, and UWorld. I studied for another two months, and yesterday, I finally passed on my second attempt with 85 questions!
In my personal experience, Klimek, Bootcamp, and UWorld prepared me better for the style of questions on the actual NCLEX.
I know everyone’s experience is different, but I wanted to share what worked for me. If you failed your first attempt, don’t give up! Change your strategy if you need to and keep going. You’ve got this! And AVOID ARCHER!
