S1 vs S2 vs S3?!? Whatās itās gonna be?

Am I imagining it or does every episode have some sort of whacking off reference? There was one episode that Kyle jumps into look at something and you only see his back and heās making a jacking off motion. It was at the end, super brief but it was there. Then I started seeing it in every episode, some subtle, many not so subtle.

Let me say first that I started the show less than two weeks ago and I was incredibly enamored by the first two seasons- each episode essentially functions as a biting one-act play about chasing your dreams past their prime, filled with caustic irony and scrappy optimism.
Season three certainly recreates some of that magic, even if it's not as sharp and a little imbalanced. My main gripe is that suffers from the same indecisiveness of other revivals, where it's not sure if it's utilizing this extra season to properly wrap everything up or expand it for future outings.
I had gone into season three with the expectation of finality in a self-contained story, but the creators seemed unsure if this was a "one and done" or they were possibly going to be renewed. For a show that had such a pithy way of expressing its characters, many of the arcs are slight, caught in an awkward space between a definitive conclusion and teasing what's possibly in store.
The least impacted by this issue is obviously Henry- his decision to stay felt like the perfect, bittersweet resolution to his journey in the show. But then the whole tag at the end with Casey's return was a frustrating red herring. I thought the whole point of this long-belated third season would be to undo the inadvertent cliffhanger the show was forced to end on after it was originally canceled with season two.
Idk maybe I should be grateful that season three was able to happen against all odds. I enjoyed spending time with these characters again- I just wish it felt more meaningful.

He is an important dynamic to the show, I get that but he's just an embarrassing interaction. I'm watching S1E9 James Rolf High School twentieth reunion.
I don't feel sorry for Ron

Hi, Iāve only just heard of this show and currently at the beginning of season 2 but I canāt get my head around the lack of ambience and background music. Just seems too silent, almost like a stage performance. Or dress rehearsal before real filming. But I feel like Iām alone in thinking this.
My favourite is Roman.

I literally canāt keep watching this show if itās just humiliation ritual after humiliation ritual for him. I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM HEāS TRYING HIS BEST poor sweet Ron

A perfect time to do a rewatch of this season

I love how tightly this show is plotted and how it rewards multiple viewings. Just rewatched the last episode of season 2 and noticed that even though EMTs showed up to the wedding because of Roman's OD'ing on weed they weren't around to help Howard after his heart attack because they left to take Roman to the hospital -- "just to show the nurses; I've never seen someone this high".

I feel like I'm going a bit crazy. I used to watch the show back in the days and remember Karma Rocket performance during the final episode of season 2.
The whole thing about Kyle playing >!'my struggle' at Constance's wedding in a room full of Jewish people<!
Now I just researched the show on Netflix, and the scene is gone. Which is ridiculous, since the whole premise of season 3 is based on the fallout of that moment. Did Netflix cut this due to controversy or was it only removed from Netflix Germany >!because of the holocaust references<! ?

Deeply disliked it. I don't buy that Henry would rather stay as a teacher instead of being a movie star. The way it works is, if you're nice and solid, once you get work, you'll continue to get work. He might not be huge like Pacino, but everybody says he's a good actor, he just had a very bad start because of the commercial, and didn't get any ballbacks and stuff. But he's in the Saga, it's the same character through multiple movies, that's solid work for years. I just don't buy it. And to top all that, you get to be with Jennifer fucking Gardner? LAME

rewatching Party Down, and I watched it a long time ago, before Parks & Rec, and I didn't realize how similar is the dynamic between Casey/Henry and Leslie/Ben, like Casey says she's the man and Henry's "the Lady", and now she's talking about Henry being a "runty little puppy", and Leslie is "the man"" in the relationship, always talking about his tight little body and little tooshie
Maybe it's something about Adam Scott that brings that out of the writers?

My next investment. Because in case you didn't know, it's the fastest growing non-poultry, non-coffee franchise in all of southern California.
