What are the craziest/most complex gaming sessions you have achieved with Parsec?
Parsec has been a game changer (literally) for me and my friends for years.
We've used it for the incredibly fun online sessions and I figured I would both share some of what we've played and ask people for their stories too.
Did you know that some games like Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 let you combine splitscreen and online play together?
One time, we played BO3 online, and we had some people invite their friends to join via Parsec to play on their PCs in splitscreen, while others joined from their own computers.
It was some of the most fun we ever had and when you combine Parsec with a game that supports this feature you can have big player counts and host people who don't have to buy the game while playing with people who do.
On top of that, we did something similar with Divinity Original Sin 2, which isn't splitscreen, but we each of us joined an online lobby and had another friend join via Parsec and they would take turns with the other player.
Finally, my colleagues wanted to play Counter Strike 1.6 but couldn't on their Mac books, so I hosted a LAN server with my mini PC and connected my Windows laptops to it and they then all connected via Parsec. Then I would take turns with someone whenever they were done playing.
Does anyone else have similar stories? What games have you pushed to the limit with Parsec? Have you ever done a hybrid session where you mix Parsec with other technologies to get the most number of people playing together?
