i was guessing snake or bean pod or green pole, i genuinly don't know.
also fun fact, if this thing is an animal, then the crowd in UJL has 10 plants, 10 animals and 10 inanimate objects

Some of their costumes are the usual, while some are different.

I've been playing the games after so long of hearing about them. These are the machinations of my twisted mind

actual question: has PaRappa ever acknowledged anything as red or green? Lammy as well, would have nearly the same color spectrum.

I’m playing on an emulator. some people say it causes input lag, some people say it doesn’t make any difference and the game is just like that.
I have no idea what works in this game. i made it to the toilet level but if’s too inconsistent to be fun to play.
I tried hitting the same button as parappas head was hovering over and sometimes got points, but mostly minus points.
I tried ignoring the placement of the symbols and just hit them according to the rhythm of the music. Worked well until it stopped working, it’s supoer inconsistent.
I tried hitting random buttons when Parappas head hovers oher the stars, which worked fine and i thought i had learned the game. then that technique stopped working.
Tried hitting buttons on every dot, which also is ineffective.
I really want to like this game but these inconsistensies and zero responses to what actually works removed the fun for me. The songs are charming but just give me anxiety after every 4 beats anticipating the failed or success sound.
I’m guessing it’s an emulator issue since many people say the game is a breeze?
I did not find the Cheap Cheap level to be different at all really, just the incosistent demands of the gameplay confusing me, but i did beat it eventually after maybe 10-12 attempts though with the score at 0. Pure luck.
