Meta / Announcements Gaza Is Starving. Let's Do Something

The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.

For over 22 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.

Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.

This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 2 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.

What you can do right now:

Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza.

Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.

Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.

This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose more.

I hate how we are rarely taught any of this even as Palestinians, so I hope this helps educate more of us and anyone that is interested in the origins of Tatreez.

Arts & Literature Palestine — The World Beneath the Water

The ruins are what we see.

But memory holds another Palestine.

Homes still standing. Streets alive. Families building ordinary lives. A world that destruction cannot simply erase.

In the water, past and present meet — and somewhere between them remains the possibility of a future.

A reflection is fragile. Hope does not have to be.

Post image

Social Issues For Palestinians in the West Bank - how does the behaviour from the Israeli settlers compare to the military occupation?

I live in the UK and am NOT Palestinian but am curious about this. The UK government recently condemned the illegal settlements and actions by settlers in the West Bank, which is obviously a step in the right direction. However, they did not place much emphasis on the military occupation. In the UK, there is much more emphasis placed on the actions of the settlers in the West Bank than the actions of the IDF in the West Bank, but as far as figures are aware, the military is responsible for far more casualties in the area. This is likely because the settlements are more clearly illegal under international law. But yeah I just wanna know - which is more disruptive to your daily life and more disliked in your communities, the civilian or military occupation? and do you find it surprising that the settlements are more harshly condemned here in the west than the military occupation is? To me, the amount of emphasis on the settlements almost feels like a scapegoat. But I wanna know your opinions. Thanks and free Palestine

Music & Performance The Palestinian Youth Choir sang “Sheel,” originally performed by the Nuseirat Choir in Gaza. The choir’s harmonies weave the song’s lyrics together with the haunting hum of drones — a sound that has become an all-too-familiar part of life in Gaza.
