I wanted to apply the Item Loss Prevention Patch to my Gamecube ISO of PSO Plus so that if Dolphin crashes (like it did a few minutes ago when my brother and I were playing on our local newserv server), my items would not be lost.

I went here and tried to download the Item Loss Prevention Patch but Windows said it was a virus. I popped the URL of the zip file into VirusTotal and it said it was clean, then I posted it to Metadefender and of the 21 engines only Sophos said it was a virus and it was App/PtchCrk-A, which I could not find any information about online.

My brother has a local AI running on our homelab, so I put pi on it, and pi started decompiling the binary and running for a few minutes before I stopped it. It didn't finish its analysis but it concluded that it was most likely not a virus and gave pretty strong evidence of it not being one.

So I wanted to know is this a virus? Can I patch my ISO without needing that file?

Also, one more thing, we are using a local newserv instance, and I noticed here that Matt said that there's a server-side patch for Item Loss Prevention in newserv. How can I get that available on my local instance of newserv?
