I recently ordered a PS5 Pro from Best Buy for $899.99, sold directly by Best Buy, but the box I received looks pretty worn out, and the seal is already broken (seal being broken is pretty normal, I guess, as a lot of people pointed out).

On top of that, I can feel the contents shifting and rattling around inside the box when I move it, almost as if the items aren't properly secured or packaged. This makes me even more concerned about the product

I haven’t turned on the console yet because I’m unsure about its condition.

For those of you who ordered a PS5 Pro from Best Buy recently, did anyone receive it in similar condition?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is normal or if I should be concerned and request an exchange. Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I’ve wanted a gaming PC my entire life and finally built one about 6 months ago for around $2,500. I’ve genuinely loved it, especially the graphics, FPS, and freedom it gives you.

But lately, I’ve been missing my PS5 Pro. I miss the simplicity of just launching a game and playing without messing with a million settings, drivers, and Windows updates.

I also haven’t really had that one game yet that makes me go “wow, this PC was absolutely worth it.”

I’m curious if anyone else has gone from PC to PS5 Pro, or the other way around. Which do you prefer, and why? Do you ever regret switching, or do you find yourself missing the other platform?

Does anyone know when the next stock of Playstations will arrive in Switzerland? I bought mine for 780chf (good price) from InterDiscount on September 4th and haven't heard anything yet.

Other sales sites only show delivery for January 2027, which is absurd.

Does anyone know if they normally prioritize customers who bought before the stock shortage?

Hiya all!! So I’ve got a new 65” tv coming next month (currently have a 55”), and originally I was going to leave the ps5 vertical like it was before, but that would mean the tv would have to be put next to the back wall (third pic of the walls/everything for reference), otherwise the ps5 would be in the way of the screen. The tape on the wall is to indicate the furthest the tv would be if the ps5 stayed vertical

The alternative is to have the ps5 horizontal which I prefer as that way it’ll be under the tv, and the tv would be more centrally aligned with the storage unit and wall. I don’t see it being a problem, but I just wanted to 100% make sure it has enough breathing space first before making a decision 😅

If I go with horizontal the clock will definitely be moved more to the right as well 🤣 the tv would likely be a smidge higher too just so it wouldn’t be hovering right over the ps5

I have a Samsung 4K 120Hz TV and want suggestions. I’m confused between building a gaming PC (tower/cabinet), buying a pre-owned PS5, or getting a pre-owned PS5 Pro.

My goal is to enjoy games on my TV with the best possible graphics and performance without spending unnecessarily.

Would building a gaming PC capable of 4K gaming be worth it?

Would a PS5 or a pre-owned PS5 Pro offer better value for money?

Which option makes more sense in terms of performance, cost, and long-term value?

I’d appreciate suggestions, especially from people who game on a 4K TV. If you recommend a PC, please suggest a sensible build and budget.

I recently got a ps5 pro and as the GTA 6 release date gets closer I am realizing I want to play the game on a larger screen that is not my monitor. My budget is $600 usd can push for a bit more if justifiable and am looking for preferably 48-55 inches.o

I ordered my PS5 Pro at the beginning of September, but I won’t receive it until January or February 2027. 😩 They’ve already changed the estimated delivery date three times! It’s honestly getting ridiculous. Is anyone else having the same problem as me?

I have placed a pre-order with JB-Hifi on Oct 2. Today I went to one of the sydney stores and mentioned to the staff that I could not able to check the status online and also via chat. The staff checked the order and mentioned there are no ETA available as off today. But, if they do get stocks we will be notified via email or sms.

I’m thinking size probably under 45inch to be able to sit on my desk..

Nowwwww I was thinking about the Samsung Odyssey G9 NEO either the 49inch ultra wide or the 57Inch odyssey Ultra wide both are 240HZ

But if there a better choice on the TV side of things in the same ballpark price as the Samsung Odyssey??

Like I said im going to be using it for the PS5+gaming computer for every day things from Studying to gaming

Mostly Flight simulator on the computer Side of things
