I had to watch several youtube videos and scroll a lot in reddit to get my questions answered. Im consolidating all I know if anyone needs it.

1. Jailbreaking can be done in less than 15mins by ourselves, so dont pay for this. ( Watch modded warfare video )

2. You need to load the jailbreak everytime to play the game. It takes less than a min, but it can sometimes crash. A pendrive should not be inserted while loading the jailbreak. It will crash.

3. I was unable to take screenshot after jailbreak ( this may have a fix, if someone knows pls comment)

4. You can't play online games

5. Easiest way to install games is to download PKG file in PC, copy it in a pendrive, install it in console. Use brave browser to download games using a pc, piracy sites have too many ads.

6. DNS will prevent console from auto updating, so dont worry about that.

7. You can still play with disc and installed games after jailbreak. Jailbreak doesnt mean that your console is restricted from what you own.

If you are not sure whether you should jailbreak it or not, please do it. You will never regret.

Hey guys I'm new around here nice to meet you. I'm getting started on making a PS4 tablet that I can take around ever since I saw a PS5 tablet by diy perks.

I bought a cheap PS4 slim with a bad PSU and tested it last night with an ATX PSU.

ps4 tablet checklist:

PSU - planning on getting back a slim psu

COOLING- I'm planning on modding the cooling system for when I jail break it

SPEAKERS - gotta get an amp to plug in the big flat screen tv speakers for some good sound

DISPLAY- 1080p 16 inch display from an old laptop I'll get.

CASE - plexiglass probably

So I recently molded my ps4 pro and it had frozen so I restarted it but now my MODs I installed aren't showing up. Anyone have any clues as to why this happened and a way to fix it?

Im currently new at jailbreaking, my first jailbreak is a xbox 360

So aside from putting games, what other thing can jailbroken ps4 do?

Okay so with the help of this channel I have been able to download some decent pkgs and they work perfectly fine on the ps4 though it took ages to download the pkgs. I have encountered a pkg with parts, what do I do about this one..? Do I follow the same process as I did with pkgs without parts or there’s a different method to it?

I'm writing this on behalf of my friend.

He has a PS4, which was 9.00 and jail broken and apparently some shithead went into the recovery mode and updated it to 14.00. So obviously He can't use jailbreak now and all his games are gone for good 😭.

Are we able to downgrade it to maybe 13.00 or 13.5 or something? I'm not very well versed in this topic but I can adapt if somebody explains.
