Discussion Keyboard recommendation for each budget brackets

Hi! I have been wanting to do this for a while now, so basically, I wanted to put on recommendations for keyboard in price brackets, the criteria is, quality, software, and price, so you will notice that certain brands aren't part of my recommendation because for the most part they fail in the quality part

1k - 2.5k: really budget boards, there are some really good boards but for the most part this is for those who are hesitant or cannot drop money on higher priced boards.

Ajazz AK820 - its a decent board especially if you aren't going to fiddle with software, definitely has a bit higher quality than other cheapish MK (usual price goes around 1.5k)

Monsgeek Fun60 - very good board for its price, monsgeek being a branch of akko, they have good quality across the boards (goes around 1.5k - 1.8k depending on variant)

Akko 3108 - a staple from akko, one of their budget boards but still a good one (usual price is around 2.5k)

Redragon Ucal pro - another redragon, but like I said their modern boards have been very good (usual price is around 1.5k)

Akko tac75 HE - This one will be an outlier, its a great board, probably one of the best for its price, with the akko quality its very much something I would recommend generally (being an outlier its usual price is around 2.6k)

Elecfox Gen75, Linky 85 and Lumi 108 - very good brand for giving very good quality boards without breaking the wallet (price range is 2k-2.6k)

I think there are more I would like to recommend but generally this are boards I either have good experience with or have heard from friends and co-workers that have served them good for several months with no issues

3k - 4.5k:

Weikav Nut65 - Starting off strong weikav has basically been trying to match all the "higher" end boards with same quality but offering lower prices, and the nut variants basically have some of the best features you can find in this price point which are rapid disassembly and pogo pins on PCB, they also offer QMK/VIA compatibility which is very nice if you want to tinker with the software a little (usual price is 3k-4k)

Yunzii B75 pro - Something a little bit more traditional, while yes compared to the nut65, its plastic board however the upside is its very light, metal MKs have a tendency to be heavy, this one doesnt have rapid disassembly but it does still have QMK/VIA support(usual price is around 4k)

Weikav Lucky65 v3 - One of their older lineups but still a very good keyboard having the same specs as their nut lineup just with different design (usual price is around 4.5k)

Monsgeek verve68 - HE keyboard from monsgeek, similar to the fun60 but this one seems to be more minimalist in design but offers the roughly the same performance (usual price is around 3.5k)

Monsgeek M1v5 - One of the most suggested boards honestly, due to its features, rapid disassembly except for the pogo pins i believe, is tri mode, compatible with both windows and mac OS, and plate mounted stabilizers, something rarely found unless you are building a custom kit (usual price is around 4.5k)

YUNZI AL68 - very good suggestion from u/skipperkid, one of yunzii's more flagship keyboards but this time in 60%, aluminum keyboard QMK/VIA, trimode, knob New25/08/2026

YUNZI IF68 - AL68's cheaper sister, due to being plastic, still has QMK/VIA and trimode but with knob and screenNew25/08/2026

5k and above: this is where we step more into enthusiast territory the massive price bracket increase is due to boards in bracket are more in line with if you really want something that resonates with you.

Nut75 - Same thing as the nut65 variant, (usual price 6k)

Rainy75 - I think this is something that took the mech keyboard world by storm, with its specs, materials and price being this low and for a board that feels like you got a fully custom board i do think it deserves the price (usual price 7k)

Wave75 - I feel like this is what rainy75 would be if it got a new version, rapid disassembly, QMK/VIA, very good quality, (usual price 6.6k)

EVO80/75 - this is my personal board, i've had it for a year now and its been a very very beautiful time typing, playing games, and overall just using it, EVO is a sub-branch of the neo boards YES those neo boards the very high quality custom keyboards, rapid disassembly, QMK/VIA, very nice colors, customizability when buying, you can choose creamy thock or marbly clack (usual price is 8k-10k)

I think these are the only boards I would personally recommend for these price brackets, some people have different opinions of course, and a lot would ask for sure what about aula, or leobog, or attack shark, and furycube, my answer to those questions is because I have bad experiences with a lot of them namely aula and leobog, both brands have consistently had subpar quality when it comes to the board it self, as well as materials used, while attack shark is a little bit better, I would generally still recommend other options as its better to buy one time a good quality product than waste money buying multiple low quality products

IF you have any suggestions, be sure to comment them along with the usual price, I hope this would help people who are looking to get a mechanical keyboard that can last them a long time

Discussion Akko Creamy Yellow V3 vs Akko Rosewood on Leobog Hi75 & Hi75C

  1. Hi75 Plain Black

Wired only, no mods applied, used for 1 year

Gasket structure, Heavy, full aluminum casing

Akko Creamy Yellow V3 (manually lubed)

50gf Switches, Linear.

Cherry profile PBT keycaps

stabilizers pinging just needed to be relubed.

  1. Hi75C White

Wired only, force-break mod, 2 months usage

Gasket structure, slightly lighter, full aluminum casing

Akko Rosewood (factory lube)

40gf Switches, Linear

MOA profile keycaps

Haven't lubed stabilizers yet.

Akko Rosewoods definitely better for 8+ hour sessions of typing than the 50gf of Creamy Yellows, I can type faster and my fingertips dont feel numb - key presses actuate much faster.

Rosewoods also do more muted (quieter) thock than the Creamy's clacky thock, very obvious difference.

Leobog Hi75/Hi75c - definitely reliable IME, haven't had a problem with my first one other than the pinging stabs after a year+ of usage. I only use wired to avoid the headache of having to remove the battery later when bloating starts. Some people don't like the knob but I do.

At first hindi ko pa magets yung hype regarding mechanical keyboards. Ngayon now I know kasi I already own one. Unboxing palang alam kong hindi ako nagsisi sa pinili ko. Then I started testing it, grabe yung ngiti ko, ang sarap mag type, haha. Ang ganda ng quality, the design and the cute little cat knob.

Buying Help Keyboard Recommendations Under ₱2,000? Preferably Available in Physical Stores!

Hi! I’m planning to buy a keyboard for my boyfriend as a gift, and my budget is below ₱2,000. 🫠

Can you recommend any good keyboards within this price range? Preferably something that I can buy in a physical store so I can check it out in person before buying.

I’m open to any brand, whether mechanical or membrane, as long as it has good quality and is worth the price. Bonus points if it has a nice design and satisfying keys!

If possible, please let me know the specific model, price, and which physical store I can find it in. I’m around Pampanga, but recommendations from other stores in the Philippines are welcome too.

Thank you so much! 💗

P.S. My boyfriend likes playing FPS/shooting games, so I’d appreciate recommendations for keyboards that are responsive and good for gaming! 🎮I

Advise Help with my first mechanic/magnetic keyboard

Post image
• Upvotes

Hello keybros! 1st time ko nakita may reddit group pala for keyboards lol, and so need ko lng some advice what's the best keyboard for someone like me.

I'm currently working as a back-office analyst, so type² ung work ko. Right now, I bought the cheapest keyboard I found on Lazada (membrane na wired sya) and that's before I knew that mechanical and magnetic keyboard switches exist pala haha.

So looking at the internet, I found out about Aula as the most affordable but decent keybs, so nung 10.10 binili ko ung Aula s75 Pro Gradient Grey na Star Vector ung switch for 4k.

I love the build, di sya kabigatan, decent yung quality for the price, added perk yung tft screen nya (nalalagyan ko sya ng gif), LED lights are okay, satisfying ung tactile feel ng volume knob as well as the thocky sound ng key presses.

Nireturn ko lng sya for the following reasons:

  1. It's not charging when connected via USB mode. Ket yung cord out of the box na ginagamit, it's not putting juice sa keyboard. It will only do so pag naset ko sya sa 2.4hz or BT mode for some reason.

  2. Was assuming it supports faster charging speed, underwhelmed na I need to leave it for prolonged period of time para mag-full charge pala, only for it to discharge faster later in the afternoon. I get it na mas mabilis tlga if always-on ung display and LED lights while using it, never expecting 99% to 40% health just using it during my 8-hour shift.

  3. 80-key layout is definitely not for me. I struggled to do my job effectively without those numpad, so I use my laptop when it comes to inputting numeric data. Though I check na may standalone wired/wireless numpad keyboard pala, I still decided to return it for aforementioned concerns earlier.

  4. Lastly, nangangalay na ung mga daliri ko from non-stop typing using that keyb. Was assuming mas malambot sya unlike the membrane one, maybe the rebound or force required per press ung factors bat sobrang sakit ng mga finger joints in the past months na.

I was looking for a low-profile keyb (they call it butterfly switches ba, like what those laptop keyboards are made up?) but decided not to buy as I'm looking for mechanical/magnetic that supports RGB lighting sa keycaps (kaartehan ko lng, malabo mata and love working in a dim room so mas prefer na nailaw ung keys haha). There might be one na may RGB lighting tho, was not able to browse the online stores lng cguro.

Currently waiting nalng ako sa HE keyboard I ordered from Pinduoduo, but I'm down buying locally for the perfect-fit cable na di naman masyado mabubutas ung bulsa ko haha. I was really contemplating whether to YOLO it and go with Keychron or Lofree since I love how those keyboard looks, pero nanaig ung kabutihan for now.

Sorry for the long post haha, anyways, I need your help/suggestion/recommendations/feedbacks:

Budget: not more than 5k muna, will definitely upgrade in the future pag may ipon na.

Layout Preference: Full-size is the best, though I can manage smaller (will buy numpad nalng) para less gastos. I might be okay with no fn keys since I don't use it at work naman (I macro my mouse for F11/F12 naman)

Features:

  1. TFT screen, trip ko ung may onting arte sa keyboard haha.

  2. Mahal pag metal casing, but if merong pasok sa budget, why not go for sturdier material diba?

  3. Large battery capacity is much preferred, 10k mAh or up (if meron).

  4. Similar feel and sound with S75 Pro pag dating sa volume knob syempre.

  5. For a mechanical one, I love a thocky one na malambot when it comes to the switch, yung di masyado nakakangalay pag magta-type for hours.

Suggest narin kayo ng custom keycaps na yung di masakit sa mga daliri (somehow ung S75 Pro, slanted/wedged ung keys, so instead of me typing using the tip of my fingers na nakasanayan, I had to do it using the flat part instead. Preferred yung side-inprinted, but will be ok with top-sided naman if di nagfa-fade mabilis.

Thanks in advance guys, will definitely read your suggestions later on

Wanting To Buy Keeb brand/product recs in Lazada or Shopee

Hello, I had a mechanical keeb from aula for years now and it suddenly became bloated, my gf was using it so idk how it happened. Also her Aula keeb that i was using suddenly broke. So yeah, Aula is probably just not good. I want to buy a replacement but I'm not sure about where to browse and which brand to consider.

I'm considering Akko or Royal Kludge.

Please keep the recommendations to budget keyboards, nor surpassing 4k. Thank you.

Poderiam me ajudar indicando modelos ?

Help - Modding LF Keyboard case repaint and repair service

Hi, baka may kilala po kayo na nagrerepaint and nagrerepair ng keyboard case. I have an Ikki68 Aurora R1 Mint and maraming scratches and unfortunately, naputol na yung topcase since may cracks na yung screwhole. The board is pretty old na rin since yung 1st release pa to. Gusto ko lang sana pagandahin ulit and marepaint kasi gusto ko magtry ng black and red scheme.

TYIA sa may recos! QC pala loc ko, sana around Metro Manila lang rin. Nasearch ko and inactive na si Teklado and Keybogs (not entirely sure on this kasi 2025 pa last post).

Advise Gmmk pro v1 ( i think) alternatives?

Been a lurker for a while and i think its about time for me to look for an alternative to my aging gmmk pro v1. Had thks for 4 years now i think and the typing experience is solid for me.but as of late the 1 errant led that wasnt really an issue is now almost two rows deep. i dont usually use rgbs that often but it has been a nnoying to look at cause i have to turn them on now. I have beenlooking at similar boards for a while now and I have seen some good alternatives mainly the monsgeek m1 v5 ( but no brass plate :( ) the mo bod 007 (if i can find it) main reasons i like thiose boards is weight and construction, for me i rarely move my board and i dont like mats cause i have a cat lol

Build is gmmk pro Tape and foam modded Filmed, lubed , spring swapped jwk quartz switches Gmmk ash caps Gmmk knob Gmmk brass plate

Discussion Elecfox Gen75 with a malfunctioning battery

I bought it using spLater and I pressed order recievced so I can advance pay 2months of my 3months plan and about a week later I used it until its battery goes to zero as I always do to check about the battery situation of the thing and charge this using the wire that comes with it and as per instruction said to charge it using laptop connection via wired connectivity. Not charging, the moment I remove the wire it keeps blinking and not stopping untill I plug it back, about 2 or 3 days testing and making sure its broken to refund it ive come to the conclusion that it is indeed have a malfunctioning battery. It works when using it with wired connection but thats not the reason I bought this(meaning I didnt bought a triple connectivity to just use it as wired).

Rn trying to get a refund or a replacement of this keboard but they keep on stalling for somereason. Going to shopee agent if they keep this up so maybe they can help me get my refund or replacement.

On the other hand, after I get my refund cause thats more like I think they are gonna do. Do I get it again or buy AULA F75?

ngl I have problems with some of the commands not working. the commands are on that manual that comes with the package so I needed to use VIA to fix some things that are not working like crtl+shift+esc and added the color changer to the wheel when presses fn + turn left/right

Advise Best TKL or 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Under ₹2,000? 👀

Hey, I’m a bit confused about which keyboard I should get. I’m planning to buy a mechanical gaming keyboard during this BBD sale, but I don’t like full-size keyboards—I’d prefer a smaller 'tenkeyless' (TKL) or a 60% keyboard. Could you suggest a good gaming keyboard for under 2000?

Hi guys! Help me decide please 😭 I'm stuck between these 3 keebs and can't decide what to buy.

I'll mostly use it for work and gaming. My first keeb was a Rakk Ilis with red switches. Gusto ko sana ng thocky and creamy sound, pero hindi masyadong maingay since sa office ko rin gagamitin.

AULA F99 Pro — Star Vector switches (2,759php)

AULA F99 Max — Meteor Axis Ice Cream switches (2,769php)

Elecfox Lumi 101 — Silent Momo switches (2,699php)

Sa mga nakagamit na, ano mas bet niyo sa tatlo? Pa-share naman ng experience niyo para makapag-decide na ako hahaha
