MDPC-X sleeve and printed combs. Case mod credit to u/DRA6N - it's going to be a great build.

I've never made cables for a SFX PSU before, but I built a little system with a Corsair SF850 atx 3.1 and the PSU side of the cables has like... smaller versions of the typical Molex Mini-Fit Jr connectors normal PSU's use. (It's the Corsair Type 5 Cable)
Is it Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 ? I haven't been able to 100% confirm this.
And if you happen to know, where can I get a couple and some pins? Actually where can I buy some of both? I have a kit of 20 ea Mini Fit jr connectors I got a few years ago that I have used from aliexpress.

MDPC-X Tuquoise and Gold sleeve, 3D printed combs are PLA Silk Gunmetal.
Note: I'm not affiliated with Palit, they did not pay me for this. I included pics of the character just for color comparison.
Edit: good thing it's not an official collab - I think it's stylized as RiTONA, lol.

Does anyone else regret learning to make PC cables because they can't afford to build PCs anymore?
or am I just a brokey?

I need to remove the two male crimp terminals shown in the photos from this 24-position connector housing. The pitch appears to be 4.2 mm, so I believe it is a Mini-Fit Jr-type connector.
I tried inserting two thin needles and a straightened staple from the mating side to press the locking tabs. I also pushed the wires slightly into the housing before pulling them, but the terminals still do not release.
Could someone please mark on my photo exactly where the needles or extraction tool should be inserted? Does this housing have a secondary lock?
Do I need the Molex 11-03-0044 extraction tool, or is there a reliable way to remove these terminals without the dedicated tool?
Please note that the installed contacts are male pin terminals, not female socket terminals.

Hey everyone,
I've wanted sleeved cables in my build for a long time and I keep chickening out. My PSU is a Corsair RM750e (2025), and every time I get close to pulling the trigger I start imagining plugging something in slightly wrong and cooking the board or the GPU. So I never do it.
I'm an amateur — I've built my own PC and swapped parts, but I've never messed with pinouts or de-pinning anything.
Is there a safety checklist you follow?
What's the most common beginner mistake you've seen ?
Any advice appreciated. I'd rather ask a dumb question here than a expensive one later lol

Hello,
Posting here after a long time. Looking for this power supply pinout diagram lately. Anyone using it? Here is the official website link - https://www.thermalright.com/product/ag-750-w/
I would really appreaciate it if anyone personally provide the pinout diagram. Thanks in advance.

One of the bigger sets that i’ve done recently and also the only set which I did entirely for free. This one is tailored to the new Fractal Ion 3 power supply, (which uses the same pinout as Seasonic units) and Meshify 3 Ambience Pro RGB case.
So what you’re looking at is ~35 meters of wire, 8 types of paracord, 7 total cables and 9+ man hours of work.
Sleeving 12VHPWR cables in Type II paracord still takes me double the time of any other cable, but I as well as the lucky owner of this PC are both very happy with the result :-)
Thoughts?

MDPC-X sleeving and printed HEX combs to match the theme

I'm collabing with Maharlikaps to make extension sets that match the theme of her amazing case mods. This is the color palette for a Legend of Zelda mod she's working on. Paracord is easier to get a good match with, and she prefers it over PET sleeve.
(The green on the right is the true color, and they're both the same sleeve - lighting was just weird.)

Ok so I'm about to start my first custom sleeve job for my pc and I have a couple questions? I have a Corsair RM850x and my 24 pin has a some pins with double wires and also had some empty slots in the plug and I wondering how everyone keeps to the correct pin out and still has a nice straight uniform cable at the motherboard with it looking like theres no doubles nor any empty slots. I understand that theres a dummy wire can some one also explain how thats implemented please. Thank you in advance.

Hi, unsure if this is the right sub, but I have extra cables for a SuperFlower Leadex III Gold 850W (SF-850F14HG) and was wondering if it will be compatible with a newer refresh the the same psu SuperFlower Leadex III Gold 850W ATX 3.1 (SF-850F14GE).
Specifically, the molex cable.

This is the result of my own stupidity doing my own cables on that miserable connector. Posted this 3 years ago and thought I would be safe.

Hi everyone!
Very recently got into this, and have been researching the past day or 2 on how to get my own pinout diagram made. I have a lesser known psu and I'd like to make my own shorter custom cables.
So far, here's what I think I need to do, if anyone can confirm that would be wonderful. First time doing this and using a multimeter so apologies if it sounds dumb.
Do I place one of the probes inside a known pin on the standardized motherboard side, where I know a 12v is, and then touch the PSU sides cable until I hear a beep? And if I do I plot it out on the diagram, and just test one by one? And after that, I put it inside another known 5v pin and test the psu side again one by one listening for a beep?
It sounds pretty straightforward but I'm afraid I'll mess something up, is there anything I should know or correct before I do it?

I have a 28AWG wire and I need to crimp it to fit the SPUD-002T-P0.5 crimps for the ODrive S1. The wire is too thin for me to crimp it. Can anyone help?

I don't know where to post, im not into sleeving but i just want to fix my main powersupply. im just testing it out on my old generic psu with ketchup and mustard cables. The awg is probably 22. i crimped it out using sn58b.
The way i see it is it doesnt have a good connection. idk, help me out here guys.

Hi, I’m considering experimenting with embossed wire for SFF cable sets, but I haven’t been able to find a good supplier.
The only retail store I’ve found that carries any kind of textured/embossed wire by the meter is MODDIY, but their pricing feels a bit hard to justify at $0.8/ft (≈ $2.5/m). That puts it at more than double the cost of sleeved cables — even when factoring in the sleeving itself.
So my question is: can anyone recommend a reliable source for this type of wire at prices that are commercially viable?

I was able to find the Molex and Amphenol versions of this connector, with the housing and the crimped contacts:
But it appears that neither version uses the 4-spring design recommended by Intel (ref) for the contact. It is called "NTK" everywhere, but I simply cannot find this manufacturer, not even google. Is there any contact, with this design, but also available on Mouser/Farnell ?
