Like its a red line thats from my theme and it just stays there if im in full sceren or watching a video is there anyway to fix this like its annoying me its on every website btw

Ever since a week or two ago OperaGX has stopped swapping the window to my browser whenever I open a link in another application such as discord, which has become mildly annoying. Is there any way to restore this feature?

I run opera on linux (cachy OS). However when there are multiple instances of the browser open, and that 2nd browser has 10+ tabs open, right clicking in the top right corner (nowhere near the close button) closes both instances of the browser. Something strange about it is that even when both instances are open, this doesn't happen on the first instance.

So since yesterday I noticed that when I open the browser it takes quite long to load pages. Internet connection is still the same as ever. Anyone else having this issue?

I dont have any limiters set so that shouldnt be it.

Any thoughts on why my pc opera gx crashes when the text "James Gunn" is displayed

So about a week ago my old pc (a hotdog water lenovo ideapad 5) burnt down (fixable I think), and it had all of my passwords and username data, which, much to my surprise, turns out I really need. So I downloaded opera on my phone and theres no data, no history no passwords, I already turned "sync" on and still nothing, anybody know how to fix it pls?

Since a few days ago I've been hearing a dinging/clicking sound every now and then, maybe every five minutes or so and I have no clue where it's coming from. I have browser sounds turned off too.
Can anyone tell me what this might be?

I've been using opera GX for a couple of years and for all this time the scrolling speed has just been unbelievably slow. I have it turned up really high on my device to compensate and it doesn't do anything. I know that it's an opera problem because it doesn't happen with any other program on my computer where it scrolls so slow. When I use the touchscreen to scroll it's faster but only somewhat faster, and still not as fast as other programs. It's so slow it drives me crazy and I haven't been able to find any kind of solution to this online. It was recommended to enable the smooth scrolling flag which didn't do anything. Please helpp

I've seen a lot of topics about YouTube messing with people using AdBlockers, but it never happened to me, and then for the last few days in OperaGX even having a YouTube tab open completely shreds the performance. Not just the YouTube site, but the whole browser; I've even seen it lag when typing in the URL bar while the YT home page was open - no video playing, no mini player, just having the website open at all.

Frequently maxing out my CPU usage at 100%, and if I try to use Opera's CPU limiting features, it still uses 45-50% even on the lowest setting and then the entire browser goes to hell, especially on any video that's playing.

Is this something new, or is it just an unfortunate update on one end or another?

Switching to Firefox with the same AddOns gives immediate performance increase with zero issues.

and then after i close opera from task manager and restart it will sometimes fix and go to normal

i also cant interact properly and its just so annoying pls fix soon

I hate some changes to my environment and apps, one being that youtube removed the like button, im glad OpraGX has made it visible again :D

Ok, so I keep hearing this occasional jingle on my laptop, and I thought it was Opera GX, but I cannot find any way on how to get rid of it. Does anyone know how to deal with this?

MacBook M3. Golden Gate 27.0.1

After updating to macOS 27, my internet connection drops out completely after a random amount of time (minutes to hours).

I tried Brave browser after suspecting Opera GX might be causing the problem.

Turns out Opera GX was! I don't get internet connection drops anymore since I stopped using it.

Notes:

• Connected to wifi but no error signs. Only that there's barely any data upstream or downstream.
• The only way to get connection back is to restart my machine.
• Have NOT tried ethernet connection yet.
• I have dozens of extensions installed in Opera GX (haven't tried troubleshooting the extensions).
• Happens randomly: within minutes to a few hours.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'd love to hear if there's a fix or workaround!

Hello, i moved to a new PC and i am trying to sync my Opera GX account to my new one, but for some reason when i try to confirm my identity via the authentication after i log-in my credentials the tab just closes and returns me back to the settings with no updates at all, it's still stuck wanting to confirm my identity.

I have no idea what to do to make it normal I can’t even watch YouTube unless it’s on 240p but when I use brave I can watch YouTube in 4k no issues

its been a week not but every time i open facebook in operaGX an error always pops up "Something went wrong" even though i have internet connection what should I do ?

So anytime I watch a video, on youtube or for school, it keeps playing over itself? I keep hearing it play twice, the second one being layered over the original, and it has a slight delay. It's been driving me crazy and it started happening yesterday. Can someone please help me?

Update: It somehow fixed itself. It acted like the speed was set slower than it was and caused the audio distortion. Idk, I'll keep yall updated.

okay so i was messing about since this is my first time using this browser but its made everything pink and if i choose a different theme such as a green one it'll make everything green with it! is there any way fix this :,}

i fixed it. i was dumb and had to turn shaders completely off

Yes I do have around 30 tabs open but 90% of them are inactive. It consumes 3 GB at most while idling. Now at some point it starts consuming huge amount of RAM and usually while watching something on youtube or other sites. After I limit RAM usage it closes one specific thing that consumes most of RAM and I dont know what causes that. I didnt have that problem before. Is that new update issue or some sort of malware or something like that?
