In the teaser video we see multiple London street lights turning on while a bell is tolling. We hear the voices of Ran and Shinichi, who repeat their dialogue from Chapter 745 of the manga, from the London case, the iconic "If you're a detective, you should be able to deduce what's in my heart" exchange, shortly before Shinichi's confession. The teaser ends on a shot of Big Ben, with the usual text announcing Movie 30 for Golden Week 2027.
This is all that is included in the teaser, everything else one might've heard so far (M30 taking place in London, Conan turning back to Shinichi, M30 being a movie remake of the London manga case, etc.) is merely speculation at this point.

I am pretty sure EVERYONE is familiar with this scene since its pretty iconic, I have recently been rewatching some episodes and catching up to new ones and I was surprised to find out we NEVER got to see the conversation shuuichi and furuya had after this scene?? It felt very relevant but we don’t get to see it which was very disappointing since I am a HUGE fan of their dynamic and story,
I didn’t read the manga so does anyone know if that ever gets addressed? Thanks for reading ^^

When I see these couples in Detective Conan I feel like they should come together and have dates and maybe spending time together. They might also be joined by Kogoro Mouri - Eri Kisaki, Kaito Kuroba - Aoko Nakamori, Hiroshi Agasa - Fusae Campbell, Juzo Megure-Midori Megure, Shuichi Akai-Jodie Starling along with the parents of Shinichi, Heiji, Kazuha, Sonoko, Makoto, Shuichi, Kaito, Aoko and the police couples not just from Tokyo but also from other prefectures. When will we get to see them all?

So i was kinda bored and was looking up some mathematical puzzle to do, and i got to puzzle 5 here.
the puzzle is this "Jan and Maria have fallen in love (via the internet) and Jan wishes to mail her a ring. Unfortunately, they live in the country of Kleptopia where anything sent through the mail will be stolen unless it is enclosed in a padlocked box. Jan and Maria each have plenty of padlocks, but none to which the other has a key. How can Jan get the ring safely into Maria’s hands?"
Just reading the puzzle i recognize almost immediately that the solution is similar to the case The Treasure Chest Filled with Fruits, in which the procedure of the lock and the chest is just the solution to the puzzle. I know Gosho do use real world inspiration for his tricks and ideas and the problem probably precede the case, but i just thought it was cool i got the answer because of conan

I believe he brought them there to look for his 'mother's treasure', after the late archaeologists that he killed couldn't. though he cut the bridge connecting the land to the mansion which means he probably intended to kill them, but he let them live even after they knew about him and some about his past. for a mysterious and secretive as him. its not of his nature

I've just finished watching movie 28 and I'm wondering if is it just me or is the pacing of movie 28 seems a bit strange compared to the other movies? feels very different to what a typical meitantei conan movies usually does. especially some of the cut from one scene to another is just weird. most of the time watching it I was thinking 'what just happened there?'

So,... There Are Two Universes. DC And MK1412. They Co-Exist. Conan Appears In MK1412 And Kid Appears In DC. And Many More Characters Cross The Other Universe.
Now,... I Have A Question. I've Been Thinking About It A Lot For A Few Months. So ... Akako Exists In MK1412. She's A Witch ... If My Memory Is Right. Now ... Conan Believes In Science And Thinks Magic Doesn't Exist.
So ... Now My Question ... What Happens When They Both Meet And Conan Witnesses Her Magic? Will He Believe In Magic? Or Will He Think That This Is A Trick?
For Clarification ... If They Did Meet In Later Eps, I Only Saw Till Around Eps 80 And Random Eps That Were Telecasted On T.V..

Hello, I used to watch detective Conan when I was a kid in the early 2000s and now with it having over 1200 episodes I'm thinking of watching it from start to finish, I remember as a kid that there were many episodes just about solving crimes and nothing to contribute to the main storyline. All I know is that he becomes a kid and uses his alias conan to solve crimes and try to get back at the organization, nothing in my memory progresses the story, just a little kid solving crimes. Now that the anime is packed with tons of episodes, I checked the filler list website and the show has a whopping 47% filler episode rate. Even though I know that the episodes of just conan solving mysteries are super fun and interesting to watch, I am still thinking of watching conan but skipping fillers and focusing on Canon until I catch up. (There is a possibility that if I catch up and I am in love with it that I would rewatch the fillers just for the sake of getting more conan in me "pause" but that's not a guarantee). But before committing into anything I wanted to get the opinions of people who are actually into the anime and know more about this. Oh and just how good is the anime when it comes to the main storyline? Is the story actually soo deep that in those 1200 episodes conan is nowhere near going back to being a man again? Just curious. Thanks in advance

I am desperate for your help to find a case About a serial killer whose first victim was a man who fell off a cliff five years ago The episode takes the Mori family company far from the Junior Detectives League or Heiji Hattori. The case was full of mystery and intrigue, and I even searched for it using AI, but to no avail. Note that I love The Osaka Double Mystery - The Naniwa Swordsman and Toyotomi's Castle
, where the killer in both these cases seems like a hidden ghost, impossible to stop with too much thrilling and mystery 🏚️. Your efforts would be greatly appreciated if you could save me the time of searching through a thousand episodes. 😢🙏🏻🌹

It's been exactly 30 years since one of the most brutal episodes in Detective Conan history aired 🔪

Do the Detective Conan movies have their own timeline? In short, for example, is Movie 28 set between the chapter that came out right before it and the one that came out right after? So, even though the movies are not canonical (or at least half-canonical), do they have their own timeline?

I don’t think this is a plot hole yet, but I don’t really know what else to call this.
Sometimes I wonder how Furuya is even Japanese because he doesn't look the part like ONE BIT. The only Japanese thing about him is his girlfriend, which is literally Japan itself (please don’t think of the alternative).
Let’s look at other half-Japanese characters. There’s Elena, who’s probably half or fully foreign. Honestly, Furuya looks more like her kid than her own kids do. Sure, their dad is Japanese, but look at Akemi - she looks like any other normal character we’ve seen. Shiho looks a little different because of her hair and probably her eye shape, but it’s not just exclusive to them. Look at the Akai family. Mary, who is Elena's sister, looks like her twin and she married a Japanese guy from what I remember. Yet not a single one of her kids turned out with blonde hair like hers. So it makes me think Furuya is probably the spitting image of his foreign parent, but even so, did he really not inherit anything from his other side besides the nationalism?
Also, the total lack of connection to his other culture is wild. Look at mixed American kids, for example. They grow up in America and everything, but they still pay tribute to both their heritages at the end of the day, even if they don’t know crap about one side (obviously not all) They might at least try, especially as adults. But Furuya? No, he’s fully locked into one side, like he refuses to acknowledge anything else. Putting the bullying aside - I’m probably going to make another post about that later, but I briefly mentioned it here.
I’m not even sure what the main takeaway of this post is tbh. I know genetics are complicated/vary. But also, is it possible he just got his tanned skin from his Japanese side like Heiji? At some point I honestly thought Fusae might be Furuya’s long-lost mom.

The lyrics for "no surprises" by radiohead feels to me like how tired haibara must’ve felt running away (ep 178)
