Hello, we are a 45 year-old couple that’s been married for 23 years. We attended Oasis a couple weeks ago on a Saturday and had a great time!
The staff were great and we thoroughly enjoyed the cleanliness of the club. Husband was nude most of the night, but also wore a towel a bit. Wife wore lingerie all night, nervous about getting nude in front of others after having breast implant removal surgery and then a lift. Apprehensive to show scars.
This was the first time we had ever been around anything lifestyle related. We are a very vanilla, somewhat timid couple. We are both educated, good looking, height weight proportionate. No one in our social circle would expect us to attend a lifestyle club.
While we thoroughly enjoyed watching others, we felt a bit out of place. We didn’t know where to go and simply blend. It’s was a very cool night so we stayed inside the entire time. We enjoyed the third floor but we stood around a lot. We enjoyed the shows others were putting on, but at what point does it become creepy for us to watch, how long is acceptable?
We did not actually talk to anyone else, and we found that somewhat disappointing. We know conversations are a two way street but looking for thoughts on how to make “friends” ?
We live three hours away (USA), but plan to attend another Saturday night in the next few weeks.
We truly have no intention of playing with others, just yet, but would like to meet people and simply have some conversation while we are there. Others probably have different priorities and we totally get that. Guess we are wondering how to break the ice with other attendees?
Anyone else ever in the same situation as us, in that they want to watch mostly?
Hoping for worthwhile replies. Oasis is a great establishment, compliments to the owners for having such an inviting space!
