I wanted a faster way to call my favorite contacts without opening the dialer or contacts app every time, so I built a small widget called Dial Deck. It gives you one-tap calling right from your home screen, and it fits in well with Niagara’s minimal setup.

It’s still in testing, so I’d really appreciate feedback from people who actually use Niagara. What works, what’s annoying, what’s missing? Any ideas are welcome.

If you’d like to try it, the steps are:

1. Join the testing group: https://groups.google.com/g/dial-deck-testing/
2. Then install it from the Play Store testing page: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.himavarshan.dialdeck

It’s free and there are no ads. Happy to answer any questions in the comments!
