Mick Mouse Toddler
Just need to share this with people that will find it as funny as I do… my toddler recently started calling Mickey Mouse “Mick Mouse.” I think of Nadia every time.

I’ve watched this show countless of times and just now thinking besides the pilot, is there any food ever sold at the bar? I’ve seen popcorn at the bar but nothing else that I can remember

Rewatching new girl and in season 3 episode 15 “Exes”, at around 10:45, Jess rips out the nozzle from the sink and says “Damn it Winston!”.
Though I don’t remember Winston messing up the sink? Is this a deleted scene or something I have missed?
(Having rewatched it so many times I am almost giddy over finding something that confused me 😅)

"Why are you so secure?! You're filled with things nobody wants!"

Is the stupidest break up in history? Jess is unbelievably ridiculous in this episode. Forcing Nick to get up, hung over, to go to her friend’s son’s birthday?? Buying said child a birthday present and then INSISTING IT BE PUT TOGETHER BEFORE THE PARTY?!? Arguing about a hypothetical future?!? BREAKING UP because of the 3 previous items?!????
It’s completely over the top, and for a show with a crazy number of RIDICULOUS plot points for the main character, this one tops them all.

We’ve been calling our kids monkey basically since birth. We have a toddler that’s 2ish and a 10 month old. We always sing “Hey monkey monkey, where you keep your crackers?” to our younger son, so our toddler started singing, “Hey monkey monkey, where you keep your almond crackers?” because he usually eats the simple mills almond crackers. It’s adorable and hilarious, and I’m proud😂
Anybody with kids that quote new girl here?

I’m rewatching New Girl for the nth time and just noticed the soap dipping spoon nick uses after “fixing” the toilet in s1 ep7. Not sure how I’ve never noticed but I could’ve used this years ago

Hello! I know this has been asked before - but has anyone had any success find a high quality version of this self portrait of Nick? I want to hang it above my bar. It used to be sold on Etsy but is no longer available.

No shade on the writing or anything, but the way the actors have fleshed out the characters is insane, and i have never seen such goofy silliness being written and portrayed ever.
The way Nick cuts off when saying something in the middle of sentences - it must have been written that way, of course, but the way Jake Johnson executes it is out of this world.
Or "gave me cookie, got you cookie" scene. Or his meeting with Tran.
each of these scenes was written well, but the way Jake delivered them makes them so funny and memorable.
And Schmidt, it would have been so easy to just become a douche by default for the show, but Max Greenfield added some characteristics to make him silly/likable as well - the constant mispronunciations, mannerisms can't be written in vacuum.
And they really struggled with getting Winston right for the first 2-3 seasons, but once Winston discovered his silly side in the show, it was glorious.
Zoey as the adorkable naive character is so good to watch too, although i feel she plays the "straight man" a lot of the times.
Cece was the hot character for the first few seasons, but she got so goofy towards the end too.

Rewatching, and never really had much of an opinion on Cece as a character, but now I'm realizing what a good friend she is. That's it, that's the post.

Hi! I'm an actress working on comedy on my TV/film acting class and love Nick's character. We're allowed to bring in any scene we want, regardless of gender, and I always felt like Nick is my dream role. I'm looking for a good, funny Nick scene, maybe 2-4 pages (minutes) of dialogue. Not just a one off funny line, but a whole scene. Would love suggestions! All I'm seeing online are very small snippets. The towel scene is a little too short and the cookie scene is pretty good but I think we can do better!
Would love y'all's help on this. Just tell me the scene, episode and season and I can find the video and write a transcript of the lines for class :))
