I went alone and explored the mela for the first time. I've attended melas in south but this was quite different and I had a good time overall except the creepy crowd pushing people which just ruins it for all.

Got this red velvet cake customised for my boyfie and it was so yumm

Pata hai aaj kya hua. I turned 52 years old today. The day was good, family members and a few friends wished me. It was a good feeling.

Lekin pata hai, I miss my kids today.

I have two kids and both stay in another city for their studies. They are working hard forntheir future and as a father nothing makes me more happy than seeing them work hard for their future. I want them to become successful and fulfill all their dreams.

I miss them today though.

Earlier birthday used to be fun. My kids used to wish me early in the morning and they used to give me most unique gifts and surpused. These little things used to feel so common earlier. I never thought that there will be a day when I will smile and cry at the same time by remembering all those things. After my wife left me, they are my world.

Both kids video called me in the morning. I told them that I am doing good but did not have the courage to tell them that I miss them.

Baap bhi na apne bachchon se apni sadness chhupa leta hai. Unhe lagta hai ki papa sab sambhaal lenge. Aur hum bhi chahte hain ki unhe ghar ki fikr na ho, woh befikr hokar apne sapne poore karein.

After the call was disconnected, I sat in the silence. How quickly time flies? It feels like yesterday when I taught them how to walk and now they are running towards their dreams.

Maybe this is parenting. We are used to be with kids but one day they fly away like a bird from the nest. My mind knows that this is the right thing but sometimes heart don't understand it easily.

I don't have any big wish for the birthday. All I miss is their presence. Alas, that is life.

I just wanted to share this. I don't know how many parents are here whose kids live away from them.

Aur haan, aaj mera birthday tha. Aap sabki taraf se ek wish mil jaaye toh achha lagega. 😊

The architecture is actually insane when you look at it from this angle. Delhi has some crazy history.

So, I got kinda influenced to go to an actual meta in Delhi. And my honest opinion is that it’s fucking fun. Since it is in Delhi you can find any type of crowd in these kinda big melas. And the place was not that clean and very dusty as well. At one point of time I felt claustrophobic. And due to lack of hygiene I didn’t eat any thing there.

Now if I talk about rides it was pretty fun. I ride total 3 rides. 1st is the giant wheel. It’s a fucking must and you can see the whole view of the mela and some area of Chandi chowk. 2nd ride was Columbus. Tbh it got a little scary for a sec as there were no fucking seat belts and when the ride got that momentum and was elevated for a sec I thought I was gonna fly of my seat.
3rd one was the 360 degree rotation one. That one looked the most scary but it had the best safety among any other rides.
Since I have long hair I fucking saw my hair flying thought that ride when I was upside down. And when that ride got finished I was not the same person for like almost an hour. My head was heavy, my mind was fucked. That ride was LSD jhoola.
The whole experience gave me a flash back that thank god this year I invested on a good life and healthy insurance.

For dinner I went to Big Chill and had my favourite pink penne sauce pasta. And also spilled watermelon cooler on myself and made a fool of myself in front of everyone. The staff was kind enough to gave me another one without billing it again.

Overall I rate it a solid 8.5/10 experience
