Question regarding have a tooth removed.

Hi I am 40 years old and have never broken a bone. I visited the dentist yesterday and I need a tooth removed however this is more complicated than first thought because I have a wisdom tooth growing into the one I need removed effectively locking it in. The dentist explained that in order to get the teeth out I will need my gum and likely bone cut out. Will this count as a break and will be banished from this sub Reddit I have proudly been a member of for years through something that isn't my fault?

Do strong boned legacies prevail even in old age?

Hello, I am new to this subreddit—though I’ve had strong bones all my life—and, seemingly ignoring the supreme density of my skull, a question beamed right into my mind.

If someone lived their whole life as a strong boned chad, but then at some old age, let’s say 90, breaks a bone: are they only now a BBB, or have they been that way their whole life? Does their strong legacy live on through story, or did it never exist to begin with?
It’s a fact that we weaken with age, this weakening comes with a loss of bone density.
does that not apply to those with truly strong bones?

On another note, to those of you who have reached your peak bone density (25-30), did you do anything with all of that power? If not, do you regret it?

On Tuesday night I was removing a 25lb plate from a barbell at the gym. It slipped out of my hand and came smashing down on my left foot, wearing only thin gym shoes. I had one x-ray at Urgent Care on Wednesday and it was inconclusive. Well today I got a better x-ray at an orthopedic specialist, and I'm proud to stay among you Strong Bones! My bones bruise but they do not break.

My young coworkers are BBBs and amazed at me

My coworkers are in their 20’s and have broken their arms already. From small falls!! I was trying to not show my disgust as I explained that I am a strong boner and can not imagine breaking my bone from, well, anything. It’s fun to explain all of wonderful crashes, falls, etc and watch their amazement.
A picture of the cinnamon rolls I made just because I’m hungry and also super proud of how beautiful I made them

Hypothetical question: what if you are given more bone?

As the title says, just a fun thought experiment. Hypothetically what if you are given more bone, and that Doner bone gets broken while you are still healing, is that your fault? If not, at what point does it become YOUR bone/fault?

Someone I know got had knee surgery and got an allograft, and it got me thinking about this. I know about the dark magic performed by wizard/doctors at hospitals, but I have never seen anyone talk about receiving more bone.

Was going for a bike ride and had a bit of a crash, and now I've got a closed right radial fracture, plus grazes and cuts here and there.

I had a good run, maintaining all my bones. But now, I must bid you all adieux.

Pretty hefty crash and no broken bones. I’d say that they are quite remarkable.

Two days ago marks at least the third time that my so-called ā€œfatherā€ broke a toe by tripping over a wire while barefoot. I trip over wires barefoot for breakfast. While running at full speed. No broken bones.

The old fool even said that the purple of his shameful toe looked ā€œprettyā€

Teenagers shouldn't brag!

Why's the sub bombarded by teens saying shit like "my bones finally gave up after 14 years" šŸ’€ dude! Your bones aren't even fully formed yet!

I think only people 35+ should be able to join the conversation on this sub and be proud they made it this far😌

I'm almost 42. No broken bones ever. Now THATS an achievement !
