Unsolved Content: Song with only humming, no lyrics - Source name: Discord

I can't figure out this song. Someone shared it on Discord and I don't know where it's from. It has no lyrics, only humming.

Clip: https://voca.ro/1o2ub0Omg3Ry

- Source: Discord ([from a discord server])

- Vocals: humming only, no words ([not sure])

- Background music: [not sure]

- Mood: [not sure]

- Length: about 44 seconds, fading out at the end

- The audio changes at about 7 seconds, so it may be cut from a longer track

Shazam, AudioTag and AHA Music all failed, and slowed and sped-up versions didn't match either. I can't tell whether it's a real song or someone humming for fun. If you recognize the melody, please tell me!

In the late seventies I went to a strip club with a couple guys I knew. They had one young lady that they thought was .... "it". A lot of it was the song that she danced to it had a very quick and rather driving beat and she moved accordingly. Plenty of energy. It seems like it had a girl's name but i can5 find it in my memory bankds. it's making me nuts. what is the song that a stripper would have used back then?

Not hot child in the city, too slow

Pop Trying to identify the original song from this rough recreation. Any guesses based on the sound or vocal style?

I’m trying to identify a song I heard playing in a mall around 2021. It had a singer with a smooth, natural-sounding voice over a sleek, upbeat electronic pop instrumental. The most distinctive part I remember is the singer smoothly jumping up to a noticeably higher note in the middle of a phrase and then coming back. Attached is the vocaroo with best attempt at humming the vocals.

Answered! Electronic/Guitar fast theme tune

Sounds like something you'd maybe hear on a Bourne Identity scene or chase scene. Fast ryhthmic guitar with maybe synth over it. I've tried to recreate with just voice then whistling it. Any help appreciated.

Answered! 90s/2000 soft rock song

Please help. I heard this song in the grocery store today and it unlocked a memory, but I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me and I can’t find it.

The chorus includes
“Cause I remember how we spent time together…”

And then something like “and you used to say that the stars were forever.”

And I’m stuck beyond that. It’s one of those soft rock late 90s/early 2000s songs… I think.

R&B 90's R&B Sample? "Bizzle - Somebody"

Hello all!

I'm looking for the sample used in the Bizzle song "Somebody" from his album Tough Love & Parables, released in 2010. This has been an ongoing search for me as this was one of my favorite songs growing up. I have searched through countless different r&b songs from the 90's and early 2000's but I haven't found any matches so far, so I've come here. A friend of mine told me that not only do the instruments and synths sound new for being oldschool, but due to the producer scene back in the day, this was likely made entirely from scratch and vocals were taken from another song, but I don't buy it because it's very obviously chopped up from an original song, and an artist with that kind of talent would likely have a little more info about himself. No female artist was credited for the female vocals either.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTyTq1HXCGI&list=RDsTyTq1HXCGI&start_radio=1

In fact, no producer is credited at all. I had to use AI to do a deep search across multiple sites to find some mention of a producer, and apparently the producer went by "Arsenix The High Standard" but there's barely any info on him either. I would contact him personally if I knew how. Someone who knows a lot of r&b songs may know what this song is, or at least, the singer. I tried to search by lyrics which is my typical go-to, but the only lyrics present from the Bizzle song are some vocal hums and the vocalist singing "Somebody, Somebody, Somebodyyyyy..."

I wish I could give more info on this but I really can't. There isn't much to go off of here. I'm hoping someone may know what to do next or just outright know the song.

Answered! Trying to figure out what song has popped in my head. It's pop/rock from late 70s/early 80s.

Lyrics I can sort of remember are

  • I get the feeling that something's wrong

  • I keep moving on

  • You don't even know my name

I'm pretty sure acoustic guitar is one of the main instruments.

Acoustic Searching for 3 years- Mystery Song From Canada

I’ve been searching for a song I heard at a bar in Canada called Camp Cataract in February of 2023. It was a live music night and a random guy got on stage and sang the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. I added a video of the audio. Unfortunately I do not have video footage of the person who sang it. I have searched by the lyrics and have come up empty. I believe the lyrics in the clip are:

“I hope you feel this way again.
Oh but, time
Is passing me by
Oh and I cry, cry, cry
Why oh why”

If it at all sounds familiar or like a familiar voice please let me know!

Electronic/EDM Looking for a electronic music video

Looking for a music video for an electronic song. It featured scenes with different women on a night out (?). For example one scene was a woman on the steps of a subway eating ice-cream, i think it was NYC. Vibe was similar to Riton's Rinse and Repeat (i though it was the music video for this song, but it's not). Similar era i think. Thanks and good luck

Pop plz help!! looking for an 90's/2000's upbeat love themed song that was trending a few months ago

I have this song stuck in my head and I can’t find it anywhere. It’s a 90's2000's eurodancy vibe upbeat vibe with searching for love undertones. it was a trending sound on TikTok around spring/summer. the singer was a woman. i think she's blonde? there was a lyric that sounds like "I'm looking for my..." (maybe says "saviour" or "love" right after?), which goes right into a sharp "dun dun" beat drop: It was a couples' trend where they do a dance, and there's bicep flexing in the dance

it's not madonna, kylie minogue, cascada, abba, perfect vs exceeder, sophie ellis bextor, nelly.

if anyone remembers it i'd be so grateful!!

For some reason I keep going "Careless Whisper" in my mind, but it's obviously not it. But maybe the style is similar, hence my brain reflex.

PS: not sure at all about the exact scale root

Other/Unknown unknown music genre | 2010s? | music video | wax melting people

okay so when i was younger my mother used to play this song during christmas time that had a music video that scared me so bad id run to my room.

i heavily associate it with the backstreet boys, the nutcracker, and christmas but those could all be unrelated.

all i remember is that a person is going down a conveyor belt in the music video and eventually gets melted like wax.

Hip Hop What hip-hop/rap song has a flute in the background that sounds like this?

There’s this rift that’s stuck in my head and I can’t quite place it. It’s a song I heard as a kid but I can’t think of a single lyric nor an artist. All I remember was that it was “chill”, had a nice vibe, and it had a flute that sounded similar to this but a bit faster (I haphazardly made this on GarageBand because I’m desperate to find it). If anyone knows what song this could be, please help! It’s probably a sample, so if you know that even, that also helps.

Other/Unknown Listened to this on youtube, cant remember the tune, vague info, help appreciated

Hey guys, am back

I was thinking back on some songs i used to listen to and i'm trying to figure out this song? by a really small group, that may or may not have only been on youtube, but all the information i have is really vague and i can't even remember the tune. been driving me a bit nuts

Here's all the details i can remember but, it's really vague and may or may not be a little off:

  • the song was one of those weird and crude flavors of song
  • the song thumbnail was yellow(?), and there was probably a drummer with a single snare drum on it. could be wrong but its a strong impression i have for some reason
  • the group mightve only been on youtube, idk if they ever published cds or anything
  • pretty sure they only had two songs at the time (2018-2021 ish?, can't remember the exact time)
  • kind of immature iirc, likely two male singers but also can't remember for sure
  • one of the songs was about something sexual, one song mightve had something to do with partying at home

Sorry its really fuckin' vague this time, but any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
