He’s a 7–8-month-old red dachshund, and I’m having the HARDEST time finding the perfect name for this little guy!
I love unique, quirky, slightly old-fashioned boy names. Something that’s cute but also has a little personality. Funny food names are welcome too! 😂

My absolute favorite is Vinny, but our other dog is named Benny, and I’m worried they’ll sound too similar. My almost 4-year-old daughter is absolutely INSISTING on Danny, which presents the exact same problem. 🤣

Other names I’ve considered are Otto, Bodie, Archie, Tony, and Odie, but nothing has completely stuck.

I’d love something that sounds good alongside Benny but is different enough that the dogs won’t get confused.

A neighbor abandoned this dog and we foster failed her. They (ironically) called her princess 🙄
We have been calling her Piper, but the problem is we have a dog Penny, and a cat Pepper— so Piper hasn’t been working (even though we love it).
We want something unique and not overused but also cute, short and sweet. Please help!!!😅

I will be picking her up in 2 weeks. She will have a brother, my current dog, named Ripley. I like two syllable names that are uncommon, unique, or made up.

Rescue calls him Freckles. Despite that being a sensible name for him, I don't love it.

She's gonna be 12 weeks this Friday. She's got like the tiniest hint of brown dusting on top of the white (other baby is Akira).

This is my new baby boy, currently named Ballyhoo. I will be picking him up and taking him home tomorrow. He’s a very sweet boy that oinks like a little piggy; he was the last puppy left at the shelter most likely because he has neurological ailments and looks like an absolute badass. But he’s the sweetest most curious fun boy.

This sweet girl joined us over a week ago and we still haven’t been able to settle on a name. She joins her big brother Koda, and while physically she seems dainty and petite, her personality is anything but. She is STRONG willed, stubborn, independent, and smart as a whip. Any ideas? I’ve read so many posts looking for inspiration, im going cross-eyed
