V85TT
Hi!
I need some recommendations. The dealer in my country is selling leftover 2023 V85 TT units for approximately $9,000 USD , about half the price of a new 2026 model. Do you think it’s a good option to buy one even though it doesn’t have VVT, or would it be better to spend more and get a 2026?

Looking at getting a Guzzi V7 for commuting
Wind blast doesn’t phase me as there are only a few sections where I exceed 80mph. Most of it will be dense traffic and steep canyon/mountain passes. I have three concerns:
How does the engine deal with elevation changes?
What conditions cause the infamous pinging I keep hearing about?
Will there be scraping when navigating tight corners?

Little Guzzi ASMR on Friday!
I love the Zard Exhaust and the sound that it brings. Short video of my Moto Guzzi V85 E5+ Nero Isola with Zard Exhaust slip-on. The black finish goes really well with this color sheme.
Have a nice weekend!

Beefed up V7 or stripped down V85
Hello everyone, I'm getting my permit soon and after deliberating for what seemed like forever, I finally decided I wanted a Moto Guzzi but I'm still torn between the V7 II and the V85TT.
My visual inspiration consists of a medley of three bikes: Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE, BMW R 12 G/S, Ducati Desert Sled: a minimalist, high-stance scrambler that looks good, does well on the road but can also handle gravel roads and occasional off-road riding, nothing hardcore.
I'm not a highway tourer, most of my riding would be on regular roads, country roads and the occasional dirt track.
I like the V7's slim body, lower weight, lower centre of gravity and classic round instrument cluster. However, due to its relatively limited suspension travel, ground clearance and ergonomics for my 186 cm height I'd probably need to add some stuff to it to make it more my style, where I'd rather be removing stuff from the V85 to make it visually lighter. Because it seems like the more capable off roader, with its 19/17-inch wheels, higher ground clearance and beefed up suspension. But at 230 KG it's a strong departure from the V7. I have heard it's easy to handle despite being heavy though.
I'd prefer simpler, more traditional-looking controls rather than the original bulky switchgear on the 2019-2023 models. Has anyone replaced the OEM switchgear with aftermarket units? How difficult would it be to retain the original electronics, riding modes, cruise control and other functions? I'm not afraid of doing some wiring, just curious about what documentation is already out there. Also, considering I won't be doing long distance highway rides, I don't need all the touring equipment. I'll probably remove the luggage rack, centre stand and other bulky stuff. What weight savings have people actually achieved? Is getting down to around 220 kg wet realistic?
So yeah this is where I'm at. The V7 is lighter, slimmer and more visually appealing. The V85 TT would be more comfortable and better suited for my height. I don't really know which direction to go, whether upgrading the V7 would get me close enough to the V85 TT's capabilities or I'm better off getting the bigger bike and stripping it down as much as I can. I know they are both very different bikes and if money was no object I would have both, but right now I gotta choose the one I'm not gonna regret not buying. I kind of already have my idea but I'd appreciate feedback from owners, especially anyone who has modified either bike extensively.
Thanks!

Billy Joel's collection going up for auction
Most of you probably know Billy Joel is a huge fan of Italian motorcycles. Sadly, his current state of health doesn't allow him to drive or ride anymore. His collection is going up for auction in November and includes a lot of beautiful Guzzis.
Register for a paddle, who knows what could happen (worst case you win a cool collectible bike?)

Need buying advise: Original / Upgraded
Hi everyone!
I am planning to join the club soon. Sadly I only have the budget to buy a used bike but there are some tempting offers out there. I am looking at different V7s and have noticed that some people have made a lot of modifications, while others sell off their bike almost the same as they got it. Can you trust modified bikes or should I buy a bike that's as original as possible?

Got these cleaning out a house in California.
I've been around motorcycles most my life mostly Harley Davidsons and never even heard of this brand. Planning and going through them and at least trying to get the orange and yellow one to start. I don't even know if I have all the parts for the other (there's a shead full of spare parts for Harleys, Victorys, bmws, and possibly these.
Planning on flushing a fluids before anything else but is there anything in particular I should look out for on them?
