I'm hoping to find a center stone moissanite (or lab diamond as my second choice) in a mint green or pale sage color. all of these examples are either diamond or moissanite, but not from the trusted vendors list. Does anyone on the list have a color like this, not just in sapphire? I feel like I'm chasing a unicorn! A lot of the vendors I've reached out to so far have said no, except golden bird, but the reviews are bad so I don't trust them. thank you!

I’ve been eyeing this one from Anu Jewel, but for some reason, it doesn’t seem to sparkle as much as the cyan one.

And is there anything I should look out for when choosing between the two? For example, are the side stones more secure or better quality from one seller than the other? I’d really appreciate any advice.

Do we have anyone here in the industry with any news on new processes, or of labs growing the less common (non-plated) coloured moissanite?

I asked a few sellers and they all told me the same thing, the colours on the red side of the spectrum will always be plated, and almost certainly won't be grown in mass.

I know reds/pinks/yellows/oranges and the vivid blues are/were technically possible, but were seen as essentially not practical to grow.

do you think it’s worth it to upgrade from emerald cut moissanite to lab diamond? from what i’ve seen, they’re a pretty comparable in this cut especially, and i’m loving the quality of these moissanites above.

I have yet to see a lab in person in this cut which will likely give me a better idea. what i do like about labs in emerald cuts is the depth, but i think it really depends on the quality of the stone? has anyone been here before? TYIA

I'm thinking of getting a 2-3 carat pear or oval solitaire on a 3-4 mm plain gold band and I am finding most rings these days have much thinner bands.

Edit to add: Well, now im officially freaking out a little. Hi everyone! I just received the CAD for my custom wedding ring and would love some opinions before approving it.

It’s a oval moissanite in 14k size 4.

I love the vintage-inspired design, but I’ve already asked the vendor to remove some of the small diamonds around the base of the center stone and simplify the side details a little, with less milgrain. I still want that vintage look, just not too busy.
Since this is my first custom ring, I’m not really sure what to look for in a CAD.
Does the overall design look good? Are there any concerns about the band thickness, setting, prongs, or durability? Anything else I should ask the vendor to change before approving?
I’d really appreciate your thoughts! 😊
