VIN decodes as a 2027 Tesla Model Y, dual motor AWD, built in Fremont, California,

I’ve been doing some research on the model Y performance. Based on why I’ve learned they are built in batches. Apparently there was a batch of Model Y performances that just got done on Wednesday (10/21). Does anyone have any insight as to when they will start the next batch?

Has anyone tested the iPhone duo on the MagBak wireless charger? I’m wondering if it fits/stays on with driving. Thanks!

Has anyone had to do a PCS replacement? I'm concerned about the reliability of the PCS itself. I primarily charge with level 3 and level 2.

I've been on a mission to find the original ADRO carbon fiber side camera covers for my 2023 Tesla Model Y.

Part number: A15A20-1901

Unfortunately, ADRO has discontinued this product, and I've already contacted them directly. They confirmed there's no remaining stock and no plans to produce it again.

I've also reached out to several overseas retailers, but none of them actually have it in stock, even when their websites say otherwise.

So I figured I'd ask the Tesla community here!

Does anyone know of a shop, distributor, or other source that might still have a set?

I'm open to both new and used parts in good condition. I'm based in South Korea, but international shipping isn't an issue.

Any leads would mean a lot. I've been hunting for this tiny piece of carbon fiber for way too long. 😂

Not sure why, but I went from Oct 31-Dec 5 with an initial Sept 26 order, then bumped up to Oct 25- Nov 8 which was kind of exciting, and now back to Nov 10 - Dec 8.

Makes me wonder what circumstances involved in the process would take me from 4-10 week wait, to 4-5 week wait, then back to a 4-10 week wait which I FULLY do not expect them to honor.

I’m trading in my older model Y

A few months back, I had ordered a new premium model Y all-wheel-drive and my trade-in value for my old model Y was assessed

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was forced to cancel delivery at the time

Now I have re-ordered and I trade-in value for my used model Y went up by approximately $1000

Ordered mine on 9/30

It’s been showing a 10/31-11/28 EDD for the past 2 weeks and today it switched to this 12/11-12/31

Mine is going to Vegas. Any others get delayed?

From what I understand, the advisors are from the local showrooms, so I wasn't sure how much sway/leverage they have.

Have you receive any notification today in your order that Model Y interior (White/Black) changed to Zen Gray (Approve/Deny) for US order? followed through VIN assignment. I didn’t received any notification. I saw it in FB Tesla community page and multiple people replied the same mostly in US Territory. Could be a rumor but Wanted to check with you all.

What should I do with my financing? I ordered the model y on Wednesday and secured the 1.99% but not sure if I should accept it now or at delivery. I know they just increased it to 2.49% so I’m not sure if I should accept the 2% now? I didn’t accept it yet because I know delivery times have been long and didn’t know if they would keep increasing it.

Curious to know the accuracy on these dates. Ordered 10/4 still waiting for VIN. Model Y AWD premium also added the extra 3rd row seats

I’ve got two options for my EV loan: Driva and CBA. Is anyone currently using either of these, and how has your experience been so far?

Which one would you recommend, and are there any other options worth considering? I’m not considering a novated lease.

So I'm in the market for an EV. Been looking at the Model Y, Rivian R2 & Cadillac Optiq.

Autonomous driving is pretty much my #1 priority, and specifically highway autonomous driving. City autonomous driving is not a priority for me as most of my driving is highway.

I test drove a Model Y and loved the FSD, although I didn't get an extended drive. The thing is, outside of the FSD, range and the cost, there is pretty much nothing that I love or even like about the Model Y or any Tesla...don't love the look (it's fine, but it's just so boring), hate that there is no display behind the steering wheel, or even a HUD. No Apple Carplay (which I realize is a problem for all the vehicles I'm looking at). And the overall quality of the interior seems kind of cheap compared to the Rivian in particular. Also hate the $100/month charge.

Curious how Super Cruise compares to Tesla FSD specifically on highways, as I haven't test drove Super Cruise yet.

I'm on the waiting list and test drove a Rivian R2. Liked the vehicle itself a lot (much more than a Tesla), but didn't get to try the autonomy all that much. What I tried seemed well behind Tesla FSD.

Ordered on 10/16 and have been going down virtually every rabbit hole, from accessories to FSD and every topic in-between.

But the rattle rabbit hole now has me paranoid my new car might rattle.

How big of a deal / common is this, actually?

Edited because I know everyone is obsessed with delivery: original estimate was end of December to early January. It was updated to December 15-30 and my gut tells me it may come even sooner, but that’s just “vibes” lol. Stealth gray with black interior!

I’m currently waiting on a MYP RWD ordered on Oct 11th. Hasn’t been that long but like everyone else I’m going crazy lolol! At this point let’s just make jokes about how stressed we are while waiting. At least we will laugh while passing time lol. This should be good. Im pretty sure I check the app 300+ times a day 😂😂😂

I ordered my Grey Premium RWD Model Y in Pennsylvania on August 17th, and here’s how things have gone:

August 17: Placed my order. Estimated delivery was 4–6 weeks.

October: Finally received my VIN and scheduled delivery for October 21st.

October 14: Submitted my final payment as instructed by my advisor, 7 days before delivery. Expecting my delivery on the 21st I had already sold my previous car privately because Tesla’s trade-in offer was significantly lower.

October 21: Was told delivery wouldn’t be possible until October 24th.

October 22: Checked in again, only to find out delivery had been delayed AGAIN until October 27th.
Now I’m stuck without a car, having already paid, with my financing expiring on October 28th and no guarantee things won’t be delayed again.

To top it all off, I’m getting a 2026 model just two months before the end of the year.

I have orded two different types of mounts that are supposed to be compatible with rhr Model Y Juniper but none of them fit or hook into the rear seat like the ad shows due to the performance seats having a different layout.

Has anyone found one that works?

Is there anyway to tell Tesla that I can’t pick the car up before January 2nd? Do I just need to make sure the delivery date says January before ordering? Right now it says December-January. Curious if anyone has ran into this before.
