After i got it the Buttons didnt worked, so i replaced it with Black Buttons and 2 new Membranes, works fine now.

¡Hola a todos! Hice Easy Spectrum, un emulador de ZX Spectrum Next, y ya corre en la Miyoo Mini a 50 FPS, súper fluido.

Que yo sepa, no había ningún emulador de Spectrum Next para estas consolas, así que quise llenar ese hueco. Corre juegos .nex, se instala como app de Onion OS y trae menú, teclado en pantalla y estados guardados.

Es una versión temprana, así que cualquier comentario es bienvenido, sobre todo de controles y compatibilidad de juegos.

Hey everyone, I got this a couple a years ago and I used it to play some retro games (Pokemon, Kirby, Sonic...) but I didn't use it for years now and when I restarted it's not really working properly (Most of the games don't start). I am completely new at this, can I fix this ? Can I download other games on it ? Any advice would be great because I really know nothing about emulation in general.

I'm currently working to a port of Champions of Krynn for the Miyoo Mini.
Almost all of the code was written by Claude.
I'm trying to make the game more user-friendly on the Miyoo Mini (it's not exactly known for having a great user interface).
The game works, but quite a few things are still missing (such as the OSK, the Journal Entries text displayed directly in the game, save states, ...).

I'll release the installation package as soon as the game is playable.

After much deliberation it seems like I have the GUI down packed and yes it does load! Only thing missing is thumbnails and stream testing I am proud to take streaming to the next level with the Miyoo devices and pushing limitations! I will be updating the code via my GitHub soon with a 0.1 release!

If you have anything you would like to see added to the app please don’t hesitate I will be looking for beta testers soon!

This was built on using RedOnion Beta 10 haven’t tried other builds I will do further testing before I put the full repository up! So if you see @dviiouslabs post something most likely it’s me I am also working on a better netplay option for people who love the multiplayer experience this is just the beginning of app making and coding for me!

I must thank the help of AI some of the code was really messed up and wouldn’t load anything… so for the people who hate AI… just know it solves solutions and not problems 🙌🏽

I have the clear purple, and I don't like how the green power on LED bleeds through at the top.

I got my Mini Flip about a month ago, I'm obsessed with it but have heard horror stories about hinges cracking. Does anyone wanna share about using one without any problems? Just to help bolster those of us who love ours and are very nervous (me)?

I want a miyoo mini v4 black transparent or white but unable to find one under 130 dollars :( they are discontinued and refuse to get a mm plus. I missed out big time.

Customizing a mini flip for a friend of mine; I've owned a mini+ for a couple of years and never had issues with it. There's this dark spot at the bottom of the screen that doesn't go away, and earlier the screen had very slight but very obvious flickering that seemed to be solved by adjusting the brightness. Anyone know what could be wrong?

I just picked up the console and I was curious and how it handle. PlayStation one games that had more than one disk like Final Fantasy and parasite eve? Would I need to do something special to load the same file from between?

With the release of the esp32 undocumented feature set and people playing with SDR waterfalls, I wanted to do somethign similar and poke around on the MiYoo Mini. Well, it works. I was able to scan and zoom down to a wireless BLE remote I had laying around the house for a fan. Take it for what it is, a fun project to see if I could/was even a thing. Obviously for the MIYoo Mini+ as its the one with the wifi. Check it out if you want, or some of my other repos. I have a web browser, GTA 1 and Scorched Earth ported over to the MiYoo too- all also AI.

I’m the developer behind the Stardew Valley port for the Miyoo Mini. I was googling it and came across a site at anannj8036[.]github[.]io advertising another download using my project’s name.

I’m fairly active here and hadn’t heard anything about another port, so I investigated.

It’s malware.

Their Release-v2.3.zip contains three files: Application.cmd, utils.exe, and cert.txt.

The launcher runs a Windows Lua interpreter, and the “certificate” is an obfuscated lua malware script.

The decoded script captures your desktop and sends the screenshot, Windows username, computer name, and other system details to a remote server. It also contains code to add Defender exclusions, persist through startup entries and scheduled tasks, and download and run additional payloads. Those actions depend on instructions from the server.

Vibecodin a port rn, doin this for myself mostly, but thought I'd share the idea with ppl, if there's any interest I might share the files (not the copyrighted ones, reddit wouldn't like that probably lol).

Miyoo was so amazing to send me a Flip device so I could test KidsOS on it.

The system is working great! The device is so nice!! I still prefer the Miyoo Mini+ because of the larger screen, but this is so cuuuute!

Anyway, I fixed some issues with the audio and made sure the device saves the game and turns off automtically when the lid is closed: kids will just expect that.

I also added a default configuration, already provided by OnionOS, to turn off the device automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Hey guys, I wanted to make a proper post here. First of all, yes, I used Claude Code to put this OS together, and I'm mentioning that up front simply because a lot of people get very emotional when it comes to AI usage. The important thing here is that I'm not selling anything, and I'm not trying to pretend that I didn't use coding tools to make this thing. Anyway.

I was considering making some themes for OnionOS, particularly a Frutiger Aero theme, and I realized that because of the way Onion is built, I wouldn't be able to really bring my vision to life the way I wanted to. So, I looked into different methods with the help of Claude Code, and came up with something new. Instead of the image-heavy SD card reading, nearly everything you see in this frontend is drawn from code. After a very short bootup, menus load instantly and everything is snappy and seamless. For the first time (to my knowledge), we have an animated UI on the Miyoo Mini Plus.

Screenshots really don't do it justice. If you have a spare SD card, and would like to take a few minutes to test it out, I'd appreciate feedback on AeroStar.
