Getting fish is already kind of a pain, especially if you're not near a river, and even if you are its not even a guarantee that salmon will spawn in it.

Then you gotta chase the cat down. I know you're supposed to stand still while crouching, but when I do that they often just walk away and never even enter detection range, so I need to walk towards them, which is when they just walk further away. Sometimes I end up walking like 100 blocks from the village after the cat. That's on top of them almost always standing in a block of grass when they FINALLY walk up to you and you cant right click them.

So it’s been a few months now since they updated the textures and I held off on criticism because I thought maybe it’d grow on me, but months later I still think the texture looks horrible. Previously, they were nimble wild rabbits with a perfectly decent model that never looked dated to me. Now they’re massive domesticated bunnies which slowly hop along with a jumping animation more detailed but far worse than the former one (there barely was an animation but it worked so was fine).

Updating the aesthetic is obviously important and I can’t off the top of my head think of any other aesthetic changes I’ve been opposed to, but if the change is for the worse it may as well not be made. For now I’ll keep killing every rabbit I see.

I'm trying to make a geyser effect in a river that serves as the entrance to my underground base. For some reason, the geyser won't carry me up if I swim into it at the same water level, but it works perfectly when I enter it by stepping off a nearby block. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Allays obviously love to dance when a music disc is played, but they actually follow full-on commands when the player uses the lute (a musical instrument) in Legends. And they just updated the jukebox's texture, so a lot of signs are pointing to music being key to unlocking the portal.

Music is the key to the Soul, after all.

They look like that bunny we saw in the video (i forgot its name) with their spirit-like blue color, and just like the sift they have a corrupted version called the vex. the most defining part of my theory (that probably already exists but i havent seen) is that they listen to music and react to it.

TL;DR a game like Just Build that's properly monitored to be nearly SFW, does that exist?

A kid in my family loves minecraft. He only plays on my devices, and we usually play co-op. For some reason he likes when I visit, I don't know why :)

We sometimes play on The Hive (server). I usually consider it safe because I had disabled chat and I watch his screen. So I was too lax, and today I thoughtlessly tried Just Build - he looked at my device, saw it, and instantly loved it.

To those who don't know the game, you get a subject and have limited time to create something based on it, then everyone votes on the outcomes. You know... _people on the internet_.

We played two games. In one, one of the players drew swastikas, in the other - you guessed it, a certain body part. Should've seen that coming.

It went over the kid's head, luckily. Next time I come over he'll ask for it and I'll probably say no...
... But maybe there is some other game like it that is safe?

In these days of AI, having that filter our the NSFW isn't impossible. Wouldn't be perfect, but could be good enough.
Or a moderator checking in advance. Even if I pay for that. Even if it's me.

Is there anything like that in any server or anything?

I've been told that Microsoft might stop future support for Sony and Nintendo is this true? I've been getting back into it today and I play on the switch 2. But there's a switch 2 version coming out later this month.

I've also found wind chimes and audio of a baby crying? Does anyone know if these are used in the base Minecraft, and if not, why they are even listed there?

So like, maybe before anything that involved us, people were already going through the Nether, bartering with piglins, this was when it was still cold, maybe that's why piglins are neutral to us, and maybe these people had been building the fortresses for easy transport, thats why there's horse armor in the fortresses, and the piglins don't value iron or diamonds, so it has to have been people, also Piglins might not know what horses are unless they've seen humans ride on them, and the wither skeletons has to be those same people that when the nether was becoming hot, they mightve tried to help but it was too late
