Newsflash: Who you larp != who you support irl
Can't believe I have to say this, but LARPing as Russians/NK/China/etc does not mean you support their policies or actions IRL. MilSim is a modern two sided wargame, one of which is inevitably the "bad guys". So I don't really get when people come into this sub, attacking other users for who they emulate in an expensive big boy game of toy soldiers. From here on out this will be considered flaming, and we will be handing out 7 day bans for it and 14 day bans for personal threats. Repeated behavior will be dealt with harshly, at the admin team's discretion and leisure.
THAT SAID, we don't allow political talk on this sub, period. So keep the news of XYZ country's latest atrocity, or your poll on whether Biden, Bibi, Xi, Putin, or Zelensky is the reincarnation of Hitler OUT of our little subreddit. We want to foster a welcoming vibe, to grow the activity. So act that way.
Have fun, play nice. Or else.

What’s the one thing a private event would absolutely need to get right for you to attend?
I’m interested in hearing from milsim players in Alabama and the surrounding states.
What would make you willing to travel for a private, invitation-based milsim event instead of attending a regular public field day?
I’m talking about the overall experience: objectives, realism, terrain, team organization, event length, player standards, and the people you’re playing alongside.
I’m researching what players actually want before developing anything. This isn’t an event advertisement or a commitment to attend—I’m here to listen and build something worthwhile.

Gear doc idea
I'm trying to figure out some good ideas for gear and was thinking of making either a Google doc or Google slides for gear, maybe something from light to heavy, and info explaining the pros and cons of said gear pieces, maybe even a thing to tell you what gear is best for your area since I live in texas and heavy gear usually is super hot, maybe even a deal for clothes to wear with said gears, I wanted to ask y'all if you think an idea like this is worth it, and if you have any advice to give

I got several nfp pouches so i made a kit, some pouches i made myself. The JSTA pouch and the role 1 traumakit of an old nfp backpack. Also the helmet cover and the rifle is homemade.

Army infantry rifleman kit suggestions
So I finally made the decision to do a regular grunt style army Airsoft kit.
Would FLC work or would the condor Exo Vest work better

Shot in the Head in Afghanistan, Then Became a Green Beret | Kyle Steiner
Kyle Steiner was shot in the head in Afghanistan's Korengal Valley and called KIA over the radio, then got up and became a Green Beret. In Episode 59 of the Into the Breach Show, he takes you inside OP Restrepo, Operation Rock Avalanche, failing and passing SF Selection, and 20+ years in Special Forces.
What gear are the ROK using in MDW4?
Been trying to emulate the ROK gear in MDW4. Specifically the helmet, PC, pouches, and other misc? Any info would be much appreciated!

Militia Kit Ideas (MSW)
Looking to throw together a Militia kit, So far I have M81 bdu too, A worn FLC (mix of m81 od, coyote pouches) I'm looking to dye green, And an M71 Swiss helmet I'm considering running with it or a bubba'd M88 Pasgt I've modded with suspension and padding, (probably gonna just run trackpants if I can't get some klmk stuff)
Alternatively I'm thinking of doing a beret+shemagh for a sort of red dawn look.
I also have a Romanian Akm and a BHP/G45 to use as a sidearm, Any criticism or ideas on how I can better run the kit? Also have an Aks74u too as another optio
(Thanks in advance)
