Hi! First of all, great work on Midori! I’ve been testing different Xbox Remote Play apps on my iPhone, and Midori has provided by far the smoothest experience, with no stuttering or buffering issues.
However, I’ve noticed one problem: the Xbox/Home button on my controller doesn’t open the Xbox Guide during Remote Play.
I’ve already enabled the Home Button Override for Midori in iOS controller settings, but it doesn’t solve the issue.
Interestingly, the same button works perfectly in OneCast with the same controller and iPhone (using home button override), so it seems to be specific to Midori.
Will native support for the Xbox/Home button be added in a future update?
I’m using iOS 27 with an 8BitDo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller.

I haven’t gotten started yet, does the Xbox button on the controller bring up the menu in cloud gaming or remote play? Or does the Apple TV override it with something apple related? Appreciate the info!

I downloaded the app and paid for premium, but for some reason, on my iPhone Air and MacBook Air M4 while I'm playing, I notice a lot of frame skips. If I activate frame generation, it improves the fluidity, but a lot of ghosting appears when I turn the camera left or right (See attached video for reference). Any help with this? I set my iPhone to 5GHz, as well as my Xbox Series X. I also tried to play on an iPad Air 4th generation, and I can play perfectly.

Also I noticed that while selecting any video format like "Fill", "Safe Zoom", or even "Normal" there's a black line at the bottom that doesn't allow it to fill the screen.

Hoping to see updates to have remote play support the new 1080p and 1440p settings in Midori.

Is there a way to remote play xbox with cellular data? Or does the app strictly do wifi remote play only?

I just bought this app. It works very well. But the main reason I bought it was because I can use my iPad for gameplay recording, but when there’s no controller connected to the iPad, the touch inputs appear on the screen.

I’ve noticed that closing down (X) the app, doesn’t close it down fully, so if I open the app again, it loads twice.

The same if I open the app immediately after turning on my Vision Pro, it loads 2 versions of the app.

Also sometimes if I disconnect a stream the app will completely disappear, not go back to the main app screen, just disappear, so again when I launch the app, it launches twice.

Anyone have the same issue?

I'm playing on my ipad 11th Gen, and I've had this issue recently where my session just randomly ends for no reason. It drops the connection, goes back to "setting up streaming," and I have to relaunch the game to get back in.

Great news, Midori version 1.0.4 is available now for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Vision Pro! The only one we're stil waiting for is the Mac version.

And finally we have SharePlay co-op mode for Vision Pro! Only one Xbox/Cloud stream needed!

I purchased the app for my household as I have Apple TVs everywhere. Thank you. It works great. I have a question though we have our family tied to iCloud, so each child has a their own profile on the Apple TV, including mine. I just realized when I was playing that they are using the free version and they don’t have the pay and it only works on my profile. Is there a way to allow multiple profiles to access the app? It’s on the same Apple TV in the same house.

Big news! This update adds Co-op SharePlay support to Midori, which means you can play co-op games via SharePlay while only needing one Xbox or Cloud session.
