Just wanting to give everyone a heads up on a new scam going around. I received an email 2 hours ago that looked exactly like a refund notice from my credit card company. It was for a 10 cent refund from WalMart that I had not initiated. Some of the links in the email appeared legit & some not so legit. I contacted WalMart headquarters & they said they had not initiated a refund on my account. I logged into my credit card account & the refund was not listed there. So I contacted my credit card, verified that the email address it came from was not theirs, & gave them details so they could let their customers know about this new scam.

So, if any of you get an unexpected notification like this, please be very wary & check it out. DO NOT click on any of the links in the notification.

I’m a disabled VET and midland and I’m looking around online to see if any one knows a handyman that can asssit or complete some house repairs in the Midland area.

A bit of good news today.

The attached video is when we were ending our walk around the preserve/park; our first time here to this park. We had seen quite a few butterflies up to that point, they are everywhere. Then we stepped into this one grove of trees and they were thicker than thieves, just stunning. So beautiful! Very recommended. Go now, the monarchs are making their annual journey south and are thick.

It may have been for a very brief time but I clearly remember small monkeys in a window display of the pet store in Permian Mall sometime in the mid 90’s. Anyone else? Or should I check the batteries in my Carbon Monoxide detector?

There’s a high chance I might be permanently moving to Midland.
I am currently pregnant, coming from Houston where docs/hospitals are in every corner this is really weighing on me.

I’ve looked at the doctors available and they all m to have a mix of reviews. Any OB doctors yall could recommend to me?

Also the giving birth situation, I’ve seen there’s a lot of debacle over which hospital is better.
Which one would yall recommend either in Midland or Odessa?

So my grandma passed away last year but in high school she got me the laptop that I loved but it got so slow I had to replace it, recently I found it again and I would love to use it to draw again but it's still slow after trying a factory reset. Is there anyone or anywhere around here I can take it to get it looked at. I got it in 2017 and I just want to draw on it again with out lag.
