Anyone took omeprazole during pregnancy without magnesium supplements?

Hi,
I took 40 mg of omeprazol daily during my pregnancy at the month 8th and 9th (3rd trimester) however, I didn’t supplement myself with magnesium.
I’m a bit worried that the fact that I didn’t take magnesium had any consequences in the baby. Anyone had a similar situation, that didn’t take magnesium supplements and the baby is fine?
Thank you!

Pregnant, exposure to alcohol and THC questions

I was sober for 2 years. My spouse and I had been working with the fertility clinic for a year trying to conceive, with no luck. After a traumatic incident, I had broke my sobriety streak. In 3 weeks, after ovulation, before my period was supposed to happen, I had smoked 3 joints and drank 3 beers. I stopped before I was supposed to get my period to get back on my wagon, and to give my next cycle a chance. However, my period was late. I tested. It was positive. I got my bloodwork done. And I am for sure pregnant. I am overjoyed, but I feel like I let my guard down and totally screwed up. What are my chances to have a healthy child? My nurse says not to beat myself up, and that I "should" be fine, but I am driving myself crazy....

16 weeks pregnant - essential purchases?

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and starting to think about what I need to buy and when but there is SO much information out there and I feel like I'm also seeing a lot of people suggesting not to buy certain things until baby is here. What are your absolute non-negotiable baby purchases as a first time Mum?

Precut fruit

I got a protein tray from work. It was refrigerated when I bought it. It had 3 apple slices some peanut butter, nuts, and pasteurized cheddar cheese cubes. I didn’t think much of it of course until someone came and said I shouldn’t be eating that at 15 weeks due to the listeria risk and now I’m just sick to my stomach with anxiety.

Birth Certificate Advice

Question for anyone who has been in this situation. I’m legally married, but I do not want my husband listed on my baby’s birth certificate. I’m trying to understand what my options are in California and what steps I would need to take. Has anyone gone through something similar while still legally married?

Problem/Goal: The Hospital is refusing to issue Fetal Death Certificate

Context: Ayaw mag issue ng Certificate of Fetal Death ang Hospital dahil hindi daw na reach ng baby ko ang 500 grams rule but my baby is 27 weeks and 6 days based on the ultrasound where we found out na wala na syang heartbeat and naghintay pa kami ng another 18 days because my OB suggested to wait for my baby to pass out naturally.

Nag try din ako magpunta sa Local Civil Registry Office but according to them they're just relying on the hospital decision and seriously nakakaiyak at nakakapagod after all the rejections that I encountered. Ano po kaya pwedeng gawin since COFD is vital requirements in claiming SSS Maternity Benefits? Thank you

Women Who Have Experienced Pregnancy and Have Children, What Was Your Experience Like?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m a man, and I want to hear from women who have experienced pregnancy and childbirth.
I’m genuinely curious about what pregnancy was like for you, from the physical and emotional changes to labor, delivery, and recovery afterward. What were the hardest parts? What surprised you the most? How did you handle the pain, challenges, and changes that came with bringing a child into the world?
I’m asking because I want to understand what women go through and develop an even deeper appreciation for everything it takes to carry and give birth to a child. I know every woman’s experience is different, and I’d love to hear your personal stories, whether your experience was positive, difficult, or a mixture of both.
What do you wish more men understood about pregnancy and childbirth? I’m here to listen, learn, and appreciate your experiences even more.
